It was one of those Chinese whispers fights that was close, and there wasnt much in it depending on what u liked to see. But as always, boxing fans get their knickers in a twist and it has been proclaimed the worse robbery of all time. Everyone gets so carried away when a decision is debatable. I remember having a chat with someone that went basically...."what a farce, big John clearly won that..." "really? How did u score it then?" "...I had John up by a round or two..." THATS NOT A ROBBERY!

ha. i love my mate Maff but he does this. 'Groves by 2 points, terrible scoring what fight were the judges watching' 'how did you have it mate' 'a draw seemed about right'

I second this. Easy to make now Maloney's in bed with Allegedly channel. Will give Price a chance to win belt outright before moving on and should sell out the Echo Arena with a decent undercard.
Price has just said he wants Del Boy

Chisora's problem is that he is what he is now. The magic 0 has long gone, so he's a bit like some of the top journeymen and trial horses. Because of the losses, nobody will pay him big money to fight a nobody, unlike Price or Fury, so to keep himself relevant he HAS to be looking at fights he'd likely lose. His promoter no longer sees him as a potential champ, so will be more willing than ever to send him to fights he is likely to lose (home advantage works when both fighters are Brits too IMO; whoever is promoting the show, their fighter is likely to get the benefit of the doubt in a close fight).

I agree, he's become a gatekeeper between British and European/fringe World class. If he fights Price, I really can't see any other result than a Price stoppage in the first 6 rounds. He'd be better off trying to get a rematch with Fury, which he'd also lose in my view but would look much better doing so. You have to wonder what constant defeats do to a fighters confidence as well. If he fought Price or Fury and lost that would be 4 losses in his last 5 fights. If FW thinks anything of him, he needs to build his confidence up with a few wins, even if this means stepping down to English title/fringe British title level before throwing him to the lions again.

He doesn't he knows his man will never be world champion and the only way to earn £££ is like this and to be contraversial. He doesn't care about Chisora's career/long-term plan

He's got Chisora a world title fight and a massive fight with Haye, as well as Helenius and Fury. He also got him shots at British and Commonwealth title fights, all in the space of 19 fights.

What more could he possibly do for Derek? He even stood by him during his legal troubles.

Exactly, more shite analysis from would be promoters. How exactly would 3 easy wins help Chisora? To get him a big fight with someone like ehhhh David Price.

What other possible fight is there that'll make him as much money as this? Also if Warren can get him Klitschko and Haye following the Fury debacle I'm sure he can sort him out again. Chisora is simply not going to make it as a major heavyweight, he's making the most he can with what he's got and good luck to him.

Chisora should not get another big fight until he has beaten someone half decent.

Think he deserves a rematch with Helenius, which he'll win.

An injury free and fresh Helenius beats Del Boy.

Helenius or Chisora?

There are as limited as one another. Both fit and firing, it's hard to pick a winner.

Chisora. He has officially lost 4 of his last 5.

He should fight Rogan in Ireland.

In reality we all know he didn't lose to Helenius.

Rogan would be a nice way to ease back in for Chisora.

Helenius wasn't 100% for the last fight and didn't do to badly.

Chisora has taken a lot of punches from the two biggest punchers in the division since.

The Haye beating will not improve his performance - if you know anything about boxing, you'll know that I'm right about that.

Chisora deserves some wins and Rogan is a decent lower top 10 domestic opponent that he would be favoured to beat.

It would be a good way to get him back on winning form for either a Price fight, or a shot at the vacant British title when Price vacates.

He needs to get his game back, as Keith alludes to above, a heavy knockout can do all kinds of things to a fighter.

He is a pretty tough customer but being starched so dramatically by Haye could have him full of doubts etc.

No chance. If you cut one of his arms off Chisora would still believe he's a great fighter.
