Are these 'people' of whom he's champion 'people' who have had no access to the outside world for five days?

Champion? why the heck? why would he EVEN BE the people's champion? it was understandable that Vitali was the people's champ after he was stopped on cut while tying Lewis on pts...But Peter fornicating got outworked, outjabed, and apart from a few big bombs which he landed, Peter's face was smashed all night by jabs and 1-2 combos, there is absolutely ni discussion no controversy in Wlad's win...now all Wlad hater and Peter lovers stop whinning please !

The Peter lovers/Anti Klitschko brigade are all over the Current Scene whining about it, some have even recorded the times of all Wlad's clinches throughout the fight.

Peters will always have a punchers chance against most heavys in my opinion but lets be honest.......he is an extremely limited fighter who has very little skill.....he aint exactly the new Tyson is he?

You are right. Peter was disappointing, the whole world expected an early KO......Wladi wasn´t extraordinary and pointed him out easily. This would also happen when Peter would fight Byrd or Luan. Ruiz would wrestle him out, Vitali and Brewster would KO him easily.

Comparing Peter to Tyson is just absurd : what made Tyson such an outstanding exiting fighter was not only his punch but his dazzling handspeed which gave his hooks and uppercuts the power of a magnum full-metal jacket bullet hitting with a concussion no one had ever seen before...Peter's style is more sluggish with slow sledgehammer-like wild overhands...Peter's punches are slow and predictable while Tyson's were coming from nowhere...plus Tyson had a way to bob and weave and get inside which made him extremely hard to aim while Peter has no footwork and is easy to keep at distance for anybody with a good jab !

He would eat more vs Vitali or Brewster.

I would like to see Peter vs Sam. Would be slaughterfest. Similiar style and skills. :box:

Not sure, Wlad rocked him really hard in the 12th...
While Vitali isnt exactly a true puncher like Wlad, he does pummel his way to a 98% TKO win...
I think he would use Peter's lousy defense and lack of stamina to his advantage and would either cause the ref to stop the fight like it happened against Sanders, either to stop him on cuts or make him quit...

I never compared him to Tyson..........Tyson had unbelievable skill whilst all Peter has is a decent punch and a chin...period.

No, no, no. Wlad, Vitali and Valuev are the only guys to beat him now.

He would destroy Brewster in a very brutal fight as both have awesome power, granite chin and no defence. I give Peter an edge in power and chin.

He would KO Byrd and Luan mid rounds and Ruiz early imo. It is Wlads power that kept Peter away. Despite his granite chin. He would walk through Byrd, he has no power to keep Peter away and i think it would be the same with Luan.

People are saying that, but I think he's worse than Tua was on his way up. At least Tua had stamina and a good punch output, Peter hardly threw anything against Klitschko and was gassed after a couple of rounds.

Wlads left hook is enormous. And it was after 12 rounds of beating.

I agree that Peter is a long way behind what David Tua was, the only reason people are getting excited is because there is little else around.
I just don't think he will cut it with most of the top 10/15. I know Wlad is one of, if not the best boxer in the heavyweight divison but Peter looked awful. Rubbish punch output, big winding slow hooks that you can see coming a mile of and little ability when fighting on the inside, Wlad should have hammered him with a few uppercuts when up close.

I don't care how good his chin is Vitali would stop him easily, he is far more aggressive than Wlad and Peter is hardly hard to hit.

Some good points but the fact that Vitali is more aggressive will make him easier to hit and like i said earlier Peter will always have punchers chance.........still pick Vitali though but would be a better fight.

I dont see him being easier to hit, the way Vitali fights with his legs wide and head back it would be very hard for Peter to land anything of note. Remember Vitali v Williams? While Peter is better than Williams it would play out in a similar fashion.

Vitali has a much better chin than Wlad, and his style makes him hard to hit, Peter is also not much good on the inside.

I think Vitali would beat the shit out of Peter, several rounds of punishment followed by a brutal stoppage.
