the "british fighter wins a world title" game

Post by misterpunch »

theres a lot of talk of british boxers who would have won a world title if they'd fought in a different era - so lets play a little game;
name a british fighter - who never won a world title - and then come up with a world champ that he would have beaten.
you can select from any era. ie CHRIS FINNEGAN, who never won a world title would have beaten JOEY MAXIM the light heavy world champ from a previous era (in my opinion) and would have been world light heavy king. one rule, you cant nominate a world champ who was british himself.

just a bit of fun

Rendall Munroe beats Steve Molitor (100% the Molitor who squeezed past Booth)

Choi (sorry I know, but I want to count him) beats Eric Aiken

Billy Hardy beats Eric Aiken

Brian Magee (if not classed as a world champ) beats Steve Little

how does price beat mccall?.. no way hose. price does not have the power to put mccall away, but price would not be able to keep away from mccall for 12 rounds.

i agree, because of his poor showing against lewis second time around mccaul gets under valued. i dont think price would ko him, his chins too good, that means a win for OM on points or stoppage.

That would be some achievement especially as Menfredy was never a big four world champion.

It would have been a battle of the WBU world champions. Lear won the same belt.
