In my opinion Wlad has more skill than Vitali but has china chin, yes Vitali would beat the shit out of peter but i dont think it would be as bad as the beating he gave Williams........and it would be a better fight-Wlad held on for dear life every time they got close.....should have had points taken off i reckon.

I think Peter has a better chin than Williams. Williams has the heart of a lion, but he's not hard to hurt, he was wobbling all over the place against Tyson (no shame there), and has been hurt by Keith Long, Michael Sprott etc. The thing is, he isn't easy to finish off as he keeps fighting when hurt.

Peter (apparently, not seen the bastard fight), took some serious shots off of Wlad and kept coming, and Wlad can certainly bang.

Vitali throws a lot of shots from long range, and I think that Peter would find it very hard to actually land anything meaningful, he'd probably have a few moments, but I can see him taking 10 shots for every one he actually lands cleanly, and against Vitali, that's bad news.

Vitali is a bit of a wrecking machine, although he's an arm puncher, he's an effective one and he just keeps the punches coming.

I'd say Williams is a better pure boxer than Peter, in fact. Peter's a tough bloke, no doubt, but in boxing terms he's a bit of a lump.

Mind you, I'm talking about a Danny Williams at under 19 stone here.

I just hope Peter vs Sam will now happen. Remember: This fight was rather fixed before the new rankings and the IBF-decision came out. Peter now has a name in Germany what would deliver him some money. Bring on that fight!

I agree. Vitali wouldn't be so cautious and would be likely to KO Peter. I was hugely disappointed with Peter. I hadn't actually seen any of his fights in full but I thought he was fat, badly conditioned and had very little skills. He may become champion one day but all it will ever take is a taller guy who can box and avoid his bombs and he will be easily beaten, just like he was against Wlad.

As for Vitali v. Peter, Peter has no chance. He would land not more than he landed fighting Wlad, and this is not even enough to hurt Vitali. Vitali may not have the one shot power of Wlads left hook, but he has higher punch output imo and hits hard as well. I see the fight stopped late on cuts or swelling with Vitali dominating every round. He might even stop Peter like he stopped Sanders, that is without putting him down.

Peter can't be taken out on 1 really big punch...Vitali takes apart any opponent , his constant pummelling takes anyone out with the repeated blows and pace...Peter would prolly not fall on the 1st punches but would crumble late...im not saying Vitali would actually KO Peter but he sure could make him quit !

For once we agree! Unless Peter drops some weight and gets a good trainer he is nowhere near a prime Tua. Having said that, when Tua was in his prime the beltholders were slightly better. A prime Tua could have won a title in this current division - Ruiz anyone?

I can't agree with you guys saying Peter has to drop weight... total bullshit! With his frame and genetic he is at his perfect weight. He is a big boy.

His conditioning is another story. But he doesn't need to drop weight to improve conditioning. He has to do train it.

Weight and conditioning are connected, but not that much. You have a lean Klitchko with poor conditioning and fat Toney with good conditioning.

He needs to improve conditioning of course, but he should drop some weight for extra speed god knows he needs some! And mobility. Perfect weight my arse, there was plenty of excess flesh on him last weekend.

Jesus, whats with all this Peter vs Vitali shit. Okay I bought the Williams hype following Tyson and I wanted to see him in with Vitali - but I don't want to see it now that he has been exposed, same with Peter.

Peter was god damn awful, Peter vs Vitali will be a mismatch as it was vs Wlad but for the fact the young Klit is chinny.
