Here I go again.
Is this the Fred "Young Sanford" Houpe, who started in 1974 and boxed 'til 1998? He must have been over 40, then it's possible. What did he do before his late comeback?

Definately the same one.

He was retired by the relevant commission in about 1977 because of retina trouble.

How he fought again is anybody's guess.

I'm finding extra results for these heavies as well Palais - thing is I'm not adding them on to the database at the moment. We'll have to compare notes soon on our boxer's lists - your's seem very similar to mine.
