Where are they now?

Post by rhino222 »

Nobby Nobbs - Seemed to disappear off the journeyman trainer scene, did he retire?

Eugene Maloney - Seemed to disappear off the world?

Claude Abrahams - Last seen looking very thin and not so well maybe 3 years ago?

Panos (Panix) Eliades - Last seen in a Rolls Royce a decade ago?

any more for any more?

Nobby just walked away from the sport altogether last i heard he was still working part time down Birmingham Wholesale Market as hes has for many years I beleive the landlord evicted him from his gym and Nobby just walked away which is a great shame coz he was a real character

i remember the boxing news editorials claude did after being allocated a ticket to a FW show by the man himself. claudes seat was right behind a huge view obscuring strut.

the spat between them was worth the magazine price alone

Think he just retired from promoting, he must of been in his 70's when he did that. Going by memory it must of been when Michael Brodie retired after losing to Harrison. 2005.
