No offence fella, but that's a not a great call. McCall was well past his best and given his chin, most people predicted Bruno on points.

I seem to remember most people predicted McCall would stop Bruno late.

Shane McPhilbin v Enzo Macranelli must be one of the top picks. The bookies must have made a killing on this fight

Tommy Oosthuizen fought Jared Lovat 8-0(8kos) and 6-0(6kos) respectively a few years back. The result? Oosthuizen won a split dec.

Just watched Ray Mercer v Bert Cooper, now although Mercer had a great chin , Cooper had been KO'd a couple of times and bailed out early against Foreman.

But this fight is one of the forgotten great heavyweight fights, both boxers landed bombs from the start, Cooper got up from a 1st round knockdown and went on to make a mess of Mercer's jaw. But both boxers were there at the end of 12 rounds.

Ask Riddick, looking at this thread he's got Haye destroying Wlad, even mentioning a Maccarinelli 2 kind of scenario, over 7 years ago! He's different class, this lad.

Povetkin vs Marco Huck and I'm still quite confident either of them would have faced the floor within 3 rounds after distance.

Great thread. I remember Foreman-Holyfield, media said no way it was going distance. Both fighters has ads displayed on the soles of their boots.....

In retrospect it's ridiculous - two guys with great chins, one a puncher and very big, but slow and old, one not a big puncher but light and busy....

It was a fight made to go the distance
