The more you think about it the more silly it seems for Hatton to be moving on , Too start with if there is no contract , that leaves him in a position to virtually tell Warren its fight by fight and the terms better favor me , with the fights i want or else its adios..

Warren wil be able to deliver has long as Hatton can draw the crowds, all this seems too personal and if theres one thing i've learnt buisness should never be personal,

From the BBC -

Ricky Hatton's camp is optimistic his proposed world-title fight with Carlos Maussa will go ahead, despite promoter allegedly allegedly's attempt to stop it.

Warren insists Hatton is still under contract with him and will apply for an injunction at the High Court on Monday.

But the IBF champion's father, Ray Hatton, told BBC Sport: "Our legal team is very confident Frank won't succeed.

"The truth will out in court and we'll be exonerated. We know we haven't got a deal and Frank knows it too."

Warren insists he has documentary evidence confirming his Sports Network company has a binding agreement with light-welterweight king Hatton.

But Hatton's team claim any contract with Warren ended in June and have teamed up with rival promoter Dennis Hobson for the proposed bout with WBA champion Maussa in Sheffield on 26 November.

"The last conversation I had with Frank was in August and we got off the phone not having an agreement," said Hatton snr.

"I expected Frank to go back to the drawing board and come back to us, but within a matter of hours we were told he was taking us to court.

"You would have expected him, after eight years together, to get back and resolve it."

Warren has accused the Hattons of greed, but Hatton snr countered: "We find it very, very strange that Frank has portrayed Richard and myself as little green-eyed monsters.

"We're accepting less to fight Maussa than Frank offered.

"We could have taken an IBF voluntary defence for considerably more money, but Richard said he wanted Maussa and Dennis Hobson got him.

"When it goes to court, everyone will be asking themselves 'why did Frank have to do this to the Hattons? Why did they have to go down this road?'"
Warren will come out of this with egg on his face. He hasnt got a prayer.

Lets just get it sorted it out one way or another. The whole episode is getting a bit repetitive now.

Dont be surprised if Warren withdraws the action before the hearing.
