If it gets confirmed then Murray has some balls and fair play to Hatton Promotions for securing the deal
For the shot
I agree with the first bit, but not the second.Manchester Hitman wrote: If it gets confirmed then Murray has some balls

golovkin - that's a nasty fight for less recognition. don't know about the money though.stujones wrote:It seems strange for Murray to fight Martinez if he has a WBA interim title fight coming up soon. Surely he would face the WBA champion.

This is a tough, tough fight for any middleweight.
I wouldn't be hi-fiving Hatton though. When he was boxing, FW got him a fight with perfect timing when Tzu was passed his best, and got him home advantage.
Murray gets a shot at one of the best and toughest boxers in the world, and he has to go to Argentina.
Hatton could have sold 50,000 tickets for a fight at that time though. Murray can't.bripez wrote:I agree with the first bit, but not the second.Manchester Hitman wrote: If it gets confirmed then Murray has some balls

This pretty much sums it up. He can't fight in the US, the only World Champion not fighting regularly in the US is Geale, who is fighting Mundine soon and I don't think it will be long before Geale goes to the US, if hopefully he beats Mundine.sweetscience wrote:He hasn't got much choice
Can't fight in US and his promoter has no TV deal

Great patience, engine, combinations and underrated defence !! Oh and Oliver Harrison's tacticsallahsnackbar wrote:Murrays style matches up well with Martinez in my opinion. The patience he fights with and combination punching would give him a real chance I think. Call me crazy..
But in argentina he is not going to win.
it'll be a good fight. martinez has beaten british fighters in britain, interestingly...allahsnackbar wrote:Murrays style matches up well with Martinez in my opinion. The patience he fights with and combination punching would give him a real chance I think. Call me crazy..
