your "worst" scoring ever
Re: your "worst" scoring ever
I thought Froch beat Kessler and felt the Danish crowd got way too giddy over Kessler's successes which ultimately swayed the judges and everyone else. I recall rowing with people on ESB back in the day when Sugar Shane Mosley, rightly in my opinion, got the nod in the rematch with De La Hoya but many disagreed.

I Od'd on Red Bull that night (didn't end sleeping for 48hrs) and I remember rucking with you at 6AM in the morning. And you are still wrong LightsootBen Carey wrote:I thought Froch beat Kessler and felt the Danish crowd got way too giddy over Kessler's successes which ultimately swayed the judges and everyone else. I also remember you having Burke beating Zoff, and a referee writing to the site saying you were wrong, or summet like that LOLBen Carey wrote:I thought Froch beat Kessler and felt the Danish crowd got way too giddy over Kessler's successes which ultimately swayed the judges and everyone else. That would be Ian Darke as I said that they failed to give Burke enough credit. It was 9 years ago mind.thepocketrocket wrote:I also remember you having Burke beating Zoff, and a referee writing to the site saying you were wrong, or summet like that LOLBen Carey wrote:I thought Froch beat Kessler and felt the Danish crowd got way too giddy over Kessler's successes which ultimately swayed the judges and everyone else. I thought Mosley won as well. It was a shock to get Boxing News and see it was a robbery
I scored every Marquez PAC-man fight to Marquez and both Hopkins v Taylor fights to Taylor.
Re: your "worst" scoring ever
I thought Froch won it too and even instantly started a thread about it on here (where some American dude called me an arsehole for posting the result in the thread title -'anybody else think Froch won that?' I think or something similar- and it was being showed delayed in the US I think) and if I recall rightly nobody agreed with me.Ben Carey wrote:I thought Froch beat Kessler and felt the Danish crowd got way too giddy over Kessler's successes which ultimately swayed the judges and everyone else. Mine is the same as it has always been, and will forever be the same
I had Jorrin beating Brodie
I am happy there are a couple of people out there who also had Forrest beating Mayorga in their rematch (how many times do I want to mention that today) but I think I'll always be alone in not seeing the great robbery of our time

i had Felix Sturm beating Martin Murray by about 4 rounds. I watched it in a boozer with 7 or 8 fellas from St Helens, not one of us felt Murray deserved it. There was no sound and it just looked to me like Martin was hitting Sturms gloves most of the time. Admittedly i'd had a few, though wasn't drunk, and i havn't watched it again since.
