Chris Eubank Jr. vs Matt Hainy

Post by ILikeBeer »

It's on the Tyson Fury undercard.

Could be good. Especially as I lived with Matt Hainy's brother for a year when I was in university. I never met the guy, but good to see him on Channel Five.

I'll be swigging a drink or two.

Good fight, have to admire the way Eubank is being brought along - certainly not having it easy.

I would like to see him in with Gary Boulden next, would be a decent step up for him and a very good win, to propel him up into the next 'level' of domestic fighters

Thought I had heard of this guy before. He was beaten by Jaffa in 2010. Should be a good fight this.

It could be especially good because you lived with his brother? Shameful name drop! :OhYes:

To be fair, I never actually met him. I remember him vaguely whinging that his brother never visited him at university. (I used to moan when my family did visit me.)

Yesterday, when I found out he was fighting Eubank, I sent my mate a facebook message because I couldn't remember whether Matt was his brother or his cousin.

Free tickets are out, by the sound of it. :witzend:

Decent enough test this for Eubank but I'd expect him to win it handily enough, probably by wide points margin.

He tends not to be a big knockout artist, so I agree. Eubank Jr. on points.

I like the way Eubank Jr is progressing.

He's certainly not being given as easy ride, that's for sure.

When he finally challenges for a title, he will be ready.

I also see a points win as Jr seems to lack power even if he seems quite sharp.
