complete crap, if gloves are good enough for an ophthalmic surgeon then they are surely ok for a sausage fingered cutsman, would you let someone put an unprotected finger into your cut eye. would you let a doctor examine you without gloves on? would you expect a paramedic to wear gloves? its about the shit on the cutsmans hands for everyday life as well as blood etc. plus..whats wrong with changing gloves each round..he has 3 mins to do it in!
All I'm saying is I've been quite a few operating theatres and they don't all wear gloves, if they are well scrubbed and iodine'd up, then there is just as little chance of infection.
Yeah they could and should change gloves every round totally agree, I meant that unless he does then it is pretty pointless. Seeing him with gloves on at any given moment is no guarantee they're sterile... You would rather see the nurse wash her hands properly before looking at you than have the same gloves on that she examined the last guy with yeah? And maybe I'm weird, but I have had Doctors wash up then examine me and not always wear gloves.... maybe he just likes skin on skin hey?

I work in operating theatres and they absolutely do all wear gloves, its the law!!
A couple years back we went on a lads holiday to Greece and we where playing headers in the pool when 2 of the lads banged heads. 1 of them needed stitchers and when he got the hospital the doctor not only had no gloves on but believe this or not had a ciggie in his mouth whilst he was doing the stitches. Ha
My mate was furious but with it being a foreign country couldn't do allot about it

That's what I thought, but the doctor looked as if he did not want to say anything.
Better to lose a fight than a whole career. He will be out of the ring 6-8 months with that cut. Doctor should have stepped in.
