Anyone with ambition would have done whatever they could to finish that fight. I mean he could have gone in there windmilling, all that really mattered was worsening the cut to force a stoppage.

It looked like a middleweight vs a cruiserweight - Bolonti was brought in because he had serious height and reach disadvantages, was picked to get KO'd, if matchroom knew in hindsight what was going to happen they would have brought in Graciano Rocchigiani or someone similar.

Bolonti's ranking had a big part in it.
