Jeremy "War Machine" Van Deimen

Post by Sweet P »

Ive judged his first few fights here in Perth. He is tough young guy with a big future. What did you guys think of his win last night. Edney is a tough guy and had never been stopped.

It was a good victory for Jez. Good to see he and Ogilvie getting tested so early in their careers. I think Jez will be very popular if he continues to fights with his current style...full on aggression and willing to take a couple to land a couple.

He is a hungry young tiger, nay, he is an animal. A dangerous animal at that, with heavy, accurate, fast hands. I'd like to see him fight Callan Orcard and then fight Jake Carr in the pros, I know they fought twice in the ams but it would be a good fight under pro rules and scoring. I'd put my money on Van Deimen to be to much for both, he really impressed me last night.

I was on the same flight back to Perth as this bloke, he has some mad scars on his left hand. He impressed me last night. It was also great to see the amount of people recognising him at the airport and shaking his hand. He was more then happy to say g'day to the fans.

Ogilvie is definitely one to keep an eye on as well.

Your right Stinger. Ogalvie is also one to watch. There is some great young talent fighting out of WA at the moment.
Next year the pool will be even bigger with Johnny Squilance. Who is a former 91kg Commonwealth games representitive. And also a few other really talented young guys turning pro.

Im not sure about VanDiemen vs Lovett yet.
Jeremy is still learning and he was telling me he will be trying to move down to Super Middle. He is making ltheavy comfortably at the moment.

I think he could make Super Middle quite easy. he is big and seems to have a bit of weight there to lose (hard to tell under all that ink). Would probably be good for his stamina as well. Which ever division he fights in, he will liven it up...and the supermiddle divi is already pretty exciting.
