senchenko no show .....

Post by 80/20 »

So Senchenko didnt show for the press conference today according to Richard Poxon his camp said he just didnt want to do a face to face ..

What does this say about his state of mind ....he doesnt strike me as the type to try mind games

I hope he comes to fight. I would be gutted for this to finish early. Like to see Hatton go a good 8 rounds.....

I can't see him not coming to fight with his record, it's not like he has been dug up specially for the occasion.

He's a former Olympian and world champ. Don't doubt his commitment. When you can't speak English and you know all the attention will be on Hatton anyway, why, other than out of courtesy, bother going to a press conference?

Yep!

If anything I read it as he is coming to upset .... And is fully focusing on the fight... Whereas Hatton is pissing about with the media n going on pitch at city game days before fight

You know what I've seen very little about Hatton in this build up, is he still saying the same old stuff? Or has he got some new material?

i would have said 'out of courtesy' should have been enough. after all, hatton is giving him a pay day. where else was he going to get one after having his face reconfigured by pillow fist paulie??

ungrateful cun7! should have part of his purse docked for not showing up.

A padded out record, fighting away from home, 35yrs of age, fighting a national favourite in front of 18,000 fans, took a absolute hiding in his first real test at world level.

I'd say he's been well and truly dug up for the occasion!

He is static, tall and upright, with a telegraphed jab. Hatton will smash his rib cage to bits.

While Hatton has picked a fella he thinks he can beat I still think this is a very live fight for a fella with 3 years out.

I finally checked Senchenko out on You Tube. I can see why Hatton picked him - pretty predictable and very average power. Still a fit guy who does the basics well though. If Hatton's stamina gives out he could be in trouble. I guessing this will go the distance.

Although he fights tall, quite like Collazo in that respect who gave Hatton all kinds of problems.

People are already saying this is an easy one and critising the opponant. 3 years out and fighting someone who recently lost a world title, only 1 defeat, decently ranked. Kudos no matter how padded his record is

You wouldn't have blamed Hatton if he came back to fight a journeyman

If Senchenko couldn't absorb Paulie Mali-fornicating-naggi hitting him flush for nine rounds without his face falling apart & his knees doing the "ooh that hurt a lot more than I expected" -tremble then I will gladly take money off you regards this going the distance....

I know you're about to come back with something about how Malignaggi hits harder than George Foreman, but I thought I'd waste my breath.

surely the relevant point here is what hatton has left, not his opponent. 3n a half years ago hatton may have dealt with him easily, but its now , and hattons abused his body big time. anyway , malignaggis style could have been senchenkos bogey. i wouldnt want to bet in this fight, unless it was a big big price on senchenko.

hattons style is completely different from paulies, because senchenko struggled with paulies slick boxing doesnt mean he will have trouble with hatton's face first aproach datsue.

Has Hatton's talking in the 3rd person confused you as well?

Don't be late. I'm pretty sure it's a 4pm start, pal, and that's also the time listed on Ricky's website. It may have been put back an hour, though. I'd check again if I were you just to make sure.
