I would have to get on my knees to say anything to his face!

Not that I actually say anything about him anyway! I have nothing against him.

I'm always a bit confused by this whole 'would you say it to their face?' thing.

I have always thought Calzaghe would have got beaten by Hopkins and Jones handily, and only got them when one was sliding and ageing (and arguably beat him), while the other was shot to bits. Instead he said he was scared of flying at their peaks.

Now if I met Joe I wouldn't go up to him and say that as an opening gambit, that would be rude. I might say "hello, hows the family?" instead

I met him years ago; he came up North, to the Prince of Wales, Balby, Doncaster in a Mercades limo and spoke to the trainer, Mick Preston. There were a few good lads there and he wanted to have some Northern lads for his shows. He was ok back then when he had a few quid so imagine he's still alright now; he put about a hundred behind the bar for drinks when he didn't have to, got to say I liked him :TU:

Same here as if you're going to go up to a professional boxer and slag them off to their face, infact the vast majority of slagging off about anybody(pro-boxer or not) is done behind their back.

I'd criticise Mismatch to his face.

I'd ask him why he brought over some of the worst ''journeymen'' ever seen to fight Olympic medallists.

I'd ask him why he felt the need to make those comments about Emanuel Steward - regardless of the context.

Etc.

Just imagine going to Andrew Millwall's do in December. What you going to do, run over to someone and start giving them a load of shit while they are having their dinner? You would get thrown out, and rightly so, because you would be a prick!
