Dundees michael towell is the latest promising boxer from our city to turn pro,hopefully he should be having his first pro fight by the end of january,start of feb,mikes a welterweight,and is an agressive,big hooking,all action fighter,its not easy trying to get sparring partners,but hopefully we will be down in stirling over the next few weeks,if theres anyone out there who wants to get some sparring with mike,we can travel,or anyone would be welcome to come to dundee and spar with him at our club,day or night its not a problem,hope some of you can help,thanks john

Get in touch with Gary McCallum on FB, he trains at Lochend at Edinburgh a few Welters plus John thain ,so you could get some good sparring there.

Also forgot to say, Billys Gym through Glasgow way will have a few fighters and Morrisons Gym aswell , there proberly the best ones with Pro's in them ?

weve got monday arranged for through in edinburgh mate,see how it goes there,hopefully we can make it a regular thing,stirling as well for the wknd,will definetly get in touch with the others gyms as well over the next few wks,its no cheap driving here there and everywhere,but its got to be done i suppose,hopefully we can start getting some more boxers coming to our club in lochee/dundee as well in the near future

david brophy hopefully gonna be doing a few rounds with michael this friday,should be another great bit of learning for him,ronnie the shark also sparring with ricky burns at our club this friday,just shows how well regarded ronnie is(and quite rightly so),that the best boxer scotland has produced in years has asked and has been sparring with all week,with one of scotlands top prospects,who in my opinion is gonna be,with a bit of luck,a future champion
