Pajkic caught Fury with a good clean punch, right on target, as Fury was standing square on. It was a flash knockdown mate.Riddick Blowe wrote:We're talking about a guy who was dropped by the foot shorter, non-puncher Pajkic, won a gift decision vs John friggen McDermott, and was almost stopped in the third vs fatty, unprepared Chisora.
What would we say if Fury had two or three losses on his ledger like Johnson? Then it'd be seen as an even fight.
While Johnson may not win, I give him a better shot than the odds that represent him, and that's what gambling's all about.
When he fought McDermott he was an out of shape 7 fight novice. He is in much better shape now and improved no end since then.
He was not 'almost stopped' by Chisora. No way.
And as far as your "that's what gambling is all about" statement. What gambling is all about for me is placing a bet that I expect to win. No matter what the odds. Fury on points is a winning bet.
