Its because he realises Skelton has no appeal to anyone with a name other than Danny.

i distinctly remember him slagging of williams for the no show and saying he'll never deal with him again. the bbbc banned williams for fighting for the british title for 6 months. Now apparently allegedly allegedly is trying to get them to change their minds, clearly on the side of williams.

He's changed his tune because he'll make a truckload of money out of it, nothing more to it than that!

Agree Max. Skelton is at an age and crossroads when he can't afford to go prancing about looking for a new promoter. Maybe its true Warren didn't tell him about the Williams rematch. Maybe he has a right to be pissed off with Wiliams pulling out.

But the fact is Skelton will only have one chance to get some sort of career defining fight. And whether that's a Sprott rematch for the EBU, or some strangely had crack at a WBO or WBA belt, Warren is best placed to get him that

Skelton needs to stay active, he is getting on a bit and needs to get the fights on now or never, the guy seems like he isn't afraid to take on anyone despite his limitations so let's make those fights!

Matt tells me he has no contract with Sports Network and his Manager has secured a Sky deal and a fight with Ruiz for the WBA title.
