Post by mcato »

This is a cracking fight. Terry Carruthers has earned his right to fight Ochieng.

I'll be watching this with intrest. I'd pick oschieng to win but i would put it past terry to spring the upset here using his strength and experience advntage

Carruthers has had only about 10 days notice, Quite clear why they did not offer him the fight after prizefighter, typical, I hope he beats Ochieng now, come on Prizefighter boy.

Ochieng will win on points in a very close fight.

Terry is a warrior no fact about that.

Just Like I said in my last post on the previous thread before opponent was revealed, It's a joke, these whole Matchroom Big Super Shows are a farce. Big arenas, all this media attention and not a genuine good fight in sight, shocking

Looking forward to seeing Terry v Nav Mansouri in a rematch of the Prizefighter semi final in February on a Dave Coldwell show in Rotherham, that will be a brilliant fight over a longer distance.

Why would you think he is joking?

I've just cancelled Sky Sports because of Hearn's rubbish shows.

Of course I'm serious m8. Kell brook's last fight, opponent FARCE, got stopped with a jab :OhYes: Froch last opponent FARCE, punch drunk fool who could barley string a sentence together, looked like bambi on ice. They keep billing these shows has, "This Is It" and shit like that, all there doing is hood winking the paying public with there media hyped, over anticipated shows. We'll see if I'm wrong after the next BIG SHOW, ya know the one where all the big prospects and world title contenders are fighting glorified journeymen and fighters with padded records, Now Hearn and Sky have stitched every other promoter up and robbed paying boxing fans the right to different talent being shown they need to pull there fingers out and put some good 50/50 fights on win/lose or draw :TU:

Terry isnt allowed to fight the doctor at prizefighter gave him 45 day suspension instead of 28 days like usual(no idea why) so now he cant fight.

would all these others have taken it at 10 days even if offered? not sure and you certainly can't blame Terry, massive shame about it falling through though, a bit gutted to be honest.

It's the doctor's discretion as to whether he wants to give a 28 or 45 day suspension.

not blaming terry fair play to him you got to take wats offered but depending on your record u dont hav to take 10 days for a title fight, your chance is round the corner, terry isnt in that position a 10 week camp i cud see an upset not 10 days its to short but he had to take the chance gutted for him. i wonder how many weeks training camp ochering has had for this fight on the 8th
