Fury on a wide points decision simply because Johnson will be lazy and lethargic.
A knockout win for Fury will be a good result for him but I reckon Johnson will just want to go through the motions and survive.

I think Fury points and I want to double it up with Price 1-6 but what you say is my concern about this bet. One big flurry and the ref might step in. Should be a points decision though.

@ lefthook82: Good point RE: Ian John Lewis-stylee "special" stoppage. Johnson's so passive it's probably reasonably safe. I wonder if anyone'll offer odds on "Johnson stopped on his feet--despite never having been hurt--whilst complaining to the ref"?

Fury by wide-ish decision but there may be one or two hairy moments for him early on as he can be a slow starter. He literally didn’t throw a punch for the first two rounds against Rogan. Does anybody know if there is a press conference scheduled for this week and if so where is it and is it open to the public? The same for the weigh-in? cheers

This is going to be funny. Didn't all you guys pick Hatton to win as well? Lol ...Johnson establishes his great jab, is far to cute for Fury, wears him down with plenty of flush shots, and Fury is TKO'd in the mid-rounds. Little, average Neven Pajkic, a no hoper with 5 stoppages in 17 fights, had a lot of success getting overhand rights through Fury's porous defence. How easy do you reckon Johnson will find it! A Kevin McBride career awaits Fury after this match.

I expect to see Fury concentrating on trying to dominate the fight with the jab. When Oscar dela Hoya fought (I think) Miguel Angel Gonzalez back in '97, practically all he did was throw jabs form one through twelve. On a (much) lesser level, I think we will see Fury attempt something similar on Saturday. Lots and lots of variations of the same punch.

Of course Johnson has a pretty good jab himself and is fairly wily to boot, so I'll be interested to see how Fury copes with that and if Tyson can control the centre of the ring throughout. Only if Johnson comes out gunning or a glaring opportunity presents itself will Fury unleash.

I predict a Fury points win but he remains vulnerable and the day he does get stopped I won't be surprised at all.

I personally don't rate Tyson Fury but I think he has too much for Johnson. I would like to see him do well for a British fighter so hopefully he keeps him on the jab and comes over with them huge rights

Im gthinking of going big on british stoppage. Johnson's workrate is appaling, just dreadful and could see him covering up, ducking and weaving, nothing landing and the referee 'saving' him

I also think Fury will be looking to go one better than Vitali who in truth didnt look close to stopping this dude

Spoke to Johnson today at the presser in Belfast and unsurprisingly he had reasons for his losses and said, "that was then this is now" which doesn't really clear anything up. He appealed to the ref (whoever he will be, probably European-based) to check Fury on the holding as he seems to think that the big lad will grab and wrestle him until he gets tired. The size difference is a key element of the fight. I expect Fury to simply be too big.

I disagree, but I'm not a huge Fury fan, it's based on size really. If Johnson made proper efforts to stay inside I think he would box Fury's ears off in the pocket. However I doubt he will be fit enough or willing enough to do that.

Excellent fight but I'd pick Fury to win by a wide margin, with a side bet of him getting pinged out by a single shot when getting reckless. That though would be Fury's error. If Johnson wins I think it'll be Fury's fault, not Johnson doing the right things. he could but doubt he will
