Prospect Boxing: December 7th Show
Re: Prospect Boxing: December 7th Show
From what I have seen Clark,Simmonds,Butcher, Slowey and Cornish.. I also think there is a couple other that may get there in the next couple of years Roberts, Appleby(at lightweight).. John Simpson is already there more or less.. I think he should be fighting Buckland in the New Year.

what Butcher fight have you seen ?
Appleby at lightweight i wouldent be sure ,his form at SFW has been patchy i thought he was lucky to get the win against Ormond and obv his loss to John Simpson was a hard one to stomach ...

Simmons no doubt will end up fighting for the British title if he stays unbeaten over the next year. It's such a poor division in this country domestically though.daviddee wrote:From what I have seen Clark,Simmonds,Butcher, Slowey and Cornish.. I should have said seen or heard about... I've heard very good things about butcher the rest I have seen.. Paul is naturally bigger he will do a lot better at lightweight. I agree ormond and Simpson fights weren't great but he needed a rest after the fight with Liam Walsh that was a gut wrencher.. Time will tell all these fighters more than capable given the right chances

Dave thank ronnie for the spar with ricky for me
Re: Prospect Boxing: December 7th Show
In the Applebey fight your right It was a gut rencher, as for Butcher time will tell wont it ,he has to get passed Michael Ramabeletsa first who is talking a tough fight and like any fighter could be a potential banana slip but its iain first time over ten rounds, hes as strong as an ox but rambalesta i think will come to attack and will try and out muscle.daviddee wrote:I should have said seen or heard about... Re: Prospect Boxing: December 7th Show
It is quite hard in Scotland to break through, and the stable has grown this year with a few novices , still a lot of hard work to be done mate but lets hope 2012 will be as good as 2012 !Champ1982 wrote:Paul, is working rt hard at it. Av, watched young Butcher for years. Plus we were in the same gym, for a time. Always new he had the potential. Was surprised he didn't sign wif 1 of the bigger promoters up here, but that's not held him back. Paul has, a real gd kid in him. Is he a big ticket seller? I think he must be, as he comes across well, seems to me like he'd be well liked thou his way. Which is a positive, he's not full of his oan bullshite.

Paul Graham is a breath of fresh air, his boys are kept busy and his shows are lowkey which is understandable given the climate. Its nice to see a what seems quiet manager/promoter going abour his business.
