Just seen the prices for Flintoff v Dawson and the ones for Dawson look value:

Dawson Stoppage/DQ - 13/8
Dawson Points - 11/2
Flintoff Stoppage/DQ - 4/1
Flintoff points - 2/1

Would only take a flash knockdown to pretty much guarantee a points win for Dawson. Don't know much about him but he must surely know how to throw a proper punch and use it in a combo

Shocking set of games tonight.
A bad day all round, smashed the wing mirror on my van this morning, 80 quid for a new one.

I haven't made a bean today.

The state of the pitch and wind put me off betting on it, or I would have been in the same boat.

Not the best at all by the sounds of it.

For tomorrow, i'm going on a lucky 15 of draws for:

Spurs v Liverpool
Stoke v Newcastle
Everton v Arsenal
Southampton v Norwich

Cheeky accumulator is 150/1

I've been backing over 1.5 goals in multiples over the last few months and all was going swimmingly and it was bringing me in a couple of hundred a week on average but had a bit of a disaster on the Chelsea v Man City game on Sunday which finished 0-0 so this weekend is gonna be all about making a steady profit.

I'm going to go for a treble of Big Buck's to win at Newbury, Price to stop Skelton and Fury to beat Johnson. No odds on Big Buck's yet but I reckon that treble would be about 4/7.

I also backed NZ heavily a few weeks ago to win all of their Autumn Rugby Internationals at 4/9 with Paddy Power so if they beat England on Saturday as they should that will bring in a bit.

Got an acc up last night: villa, charlton, doncaster and middlesbrough paid about 10's. Only my 3rd coupon up this season so far! Went 2 months worth of saturdays where 1 team let me down each week!!

For the boxing this weekend, backing a treble of Fury points (4/6), Price 1-6 (4/9 was going to do 1-4 @ 5/6 but bottled it) and vassell to win (11/10). Pays just over 4/1.

Got a treble of Soton, Stoke and Blackburn tonight pays roughly 13/2 along with a daft small stakes away treble of Arsenal, West Brom and Hibs.

OK, after finally getting Betfred to take my bets I have gone for some fun trebles with small amounts.

Dawson KO1
Price KO1
Johnson stoppage any time

pays more than 300/1!!!

Also gone for variations with Dawson KO1, Price KO2 and some 3, and some with Fury points which unsurprisingly shortens the price a lot.

You can get 74/1 on Price KO1, Dawson KO1 and Fury PTS. Decent bet, Dawson is obviously the biggest question mark but he represents good value simply as a guy who's been in the ring before and surely should be favourite to wipe out Flintoff quick time. Price wiping out a bored, old, shot, Skelton in one is realistic. And most think Fury is winning on points. (Not me)

Might put a few extra ones on Dawson KO2 etc.

I got Dawson KO1, Price KO1 and Johnson on points at 330/1 with Ladbrokes, I've done a few variations, that's the best price I got. I can't believe Johnson is such an outsider, Ladbrokes have him at 10/1 to even win.

I thought so too at first but after watching some of his recent efforts he is a long shot for a reason, incredibly frustrating to watch him pose like that and not throw anything for the whole fight, every fight. I might do some more involving Fury on points. Unfortunately this is going to be a long, horrible fight with Fury winning an unconvincing decision. but i desperately hope i'm wrong ! .

I might also mix Fury points with Dawson/Flintoff not to go the distance. Even for four rounds these two won't hear the final bell, there'll be little skill on offer just two guys wailing away and I can't see much punch resistance being on show.

I said to myself one of Hatton/Flintoff is going to lose but not both. Could easily see this ending in farce and cant rule out british stoppage either. Although its only 8 minutes I might get a bit lumpy with the fight not to go the distance

Came here to post about the under but only Paddy is offering it at the moment... what the frig is going on???

Might just be there's so much uncertainty the bookies would rather not even give odds.

Couple of rugby union bets...

NZ -15 vs England - 10/11 with most bookies
Aus -3 vs Wales - again, 10/11 with most bookies

NZ vs England sells itself, I'd price this around the 20 mark. England found a way to lose against the very average Australian and South African teams. Can't see this being any different, NZ are on a different level, and for 60 minutes shredded Wales.

Despite Australia almost losing to Italy I've backed them to overturn a 3pt deficit tomorrow against Wales, who have retained Priestland at #10 (why?) - and look short of confidence.

My logic....

Freddie vs Random guy from Oklahoma.

Sold out MEN arena.

This guy has been very carefully selected.

You don't fly some one all the way from the USA to win.

Oklahoma is infamous for padded records, false names etc.

Too much money involved.

I can't see any other result than a Flintoff win.

I've got £100 on Flintoff at 11/10. :TU:

There is potentially big money to be made on this fight as there will be a gulf in class one way of the other. Trick is finding which way the cards will fall. I don't particularly like betting blind and trusting others match making skills on unknown quantities but I've had near enough the same thoughts as Mr Moonhangover so I tentatively bet on Flintoff to win. Not going mad but hoping to get a free weekend out of it.

That's why the 'not to go distance' is a good bet. These guys will be slugging away. Neither has a defence and at least one guy won't be able to stand up to punishment. Someone will fall.

I think the only good bet is Flintoff.

Imagine you were promoting Flintoff and you could pick any opponent in the world..... Why go to all the expensse of bringing someone in from America, paying flights, hotels etc. When you could bring in an English fighter? Why not New York or Phillie? Why Oklahoma? Anyone who knows boxing knows the answer.

Flintoff will definately win. This guy has read the script rehearsed and learned it. He will swing away wildly and get clipped. Im almost certain of it

He isnt a special talent. He probably fights for a can of bear in the midwest circuit and this will be by far his biggest payday.

From when you bypass Latvia to go to America you know they are bringing in Grade A trash

I bet the pregnant latvian that Price 'fought' would have put up more of a fight
