Has he forgot everything from the gym, it's like someone straight off the street in a white collar, slapping and shit and open as a playing field.

How so? He won three rounds, Dawson one, even with the knockdown he wins on points.
Had Dawson winning the last. Landed a few without taking any.

Flintoff won it, Dawson could have won it but he decided to go for a sleepwalk. I think Flintoff will be back in there, he can improve on this for sure. He is brave, he is fit and he is fast, once he gets more experience he will be OK.

Respect your opinion but disagree. I had him winning 3 rounds purely on aggression. Had it been 4x3 it may have been a different story tho. And lets be honest (not having a go at you here) but 'bullshit decision' are words that should be applied to Pacquiao v Bradley or Chisora v Helenius where the majority have one guy a very clear winner, rather than 'I had it by a point to the other guy' even if it was 4 rounds.

That right hand, oh dear, a little embarassing that he's had all that training off top pros and he can't even throw a proper right hand. He won the fight though, 3-1 as other's had it. Won me a few quid too!

To be fair that was his first fight with just six months experience. Most boxers get that fight out of the way in their teens, I imagine they looked as poor then too.
Basically this, he settled down and was OK - for his first ever fight he wasn't too bad, they will
bring in a few Americans we have never heard of to boost his confidence and he'll get better
I am sure of it.

It was what it was. Well done Flintoff. He deserved the nod but I question whether the Board should be licensing a guy that raw. I've never seen a worse pro in this country and I've seen most of them and been in with some numb fighters myself. The same applies to whoever licensed Dawson, he was beyond dire, totally hopeless.

Like the guys on the box said, hopefully Flintoff sees this for what it was, revels in it and walks away. He did well given the fact he had huge public pressure and pretty much no natural ability. But there's no point him carrying on. He is crap and will always be crap.

To be honest I've never had a fight, but I'm pretty confident I can throw a better right hand than that. Proper rabbit punching, stance was wrong, it was all very very amateur-ish. I duno, I was under the impression that Flintoff had done bits of boxing training previously and was meant to be half-decent. Good jab though, shame about the rest of it.

Ha! No sweat. Lost dough on the fight hence my reaction.

There was very few punches landed in the fight so I can see why Freddie takes it on aggression, even in the fourth when Dawson to me, landed more than in any other rounds.

I think he done quite well, he looked like casper the ghost when he first got in the ring and during the walkin, had a messy first round but then got into it more, 6x2 and i think he would have done better against this guy. Dawson was very badly out of shape.

Hopefully he fights a few more bums and we get a few good nights tele out of it.

Agreed, I don't see any harm in it at all, gets more casual fans involved, those guys on the undercard got some good exposure in front of a big crowd.

I'd chuck him into the next Prizefighter. He wouldn't be the worst fighter to have competed in it.

Yes he would. Are you new to the sport?

People need to get a bit of perspective about what this event was all about. I would be staggered if he decided to box again. I don't think it was ever his intent to have more than one fight. He seems pretty realistic about his ability and what his goal was.

The recording fcuking cut off after two fornicating rounds!!

The comatose Dawson put him down with the first punch he threw and that was the only punch he threw in the round....

Full marks for effort though Freddie.
