Limond vs Doyle Commonwealth light-welter

Post by sgtcecil »

I see that McAllister has vacated the belt. How does everyone see this fight go? Limond to experienced?

What has limmond done to deserve another title shot ? I like to see our guys getting title shots but with Morrison and limmond they seem to only have to beat a journey man on points then gilmour gets then title fights, both been found wanting a title level yet continue to get shots!! Surely there are more deserving out there

My feelings exactly, Doyle and Limond have beaten no-one of note at Light-Welter. I made this point on the Pro Box Scotland Facebook page and the comment got deleted what happened to free speech??

If any Scottish Light-welter deserves a shot at this title surely it should be the Scottish Champ Stuart Green, Hes beat Mitch Prince, Ryan Brawley, Gary McArthur and Patrick Walsh in the last 2 years. Hes with Gilmour as well so it wouldnt of been hard to make.

He could only beat what was infront of him which is what he did. Are you retired now Gary?

Is Arthur still serious about fighting? Wonder why he knocked back the offer to fight Woodhouse as that would have got him in the mix at British level.

As for Doyle vs Limond, I haven't seen any of Doyle to pass judgement.

Think your right. Only reason he asked Mcallister to give it up was so he could keep the title in his stable.

That won't happen you would beat Limond and Doyle so Gilmour wouldn't risk that. As for fighting Arthur he may not be as good as he was but no offence he would beat you, I believe it would end in a stoppage. Fair play to you though you would genuinely fight anyone lol.. I'm sure we will see Ricky Burns up at light welter soon so Billy if you want the commonwealth belt you need to be getting Gilmour on side haha

putting all the politics aside, doyle was supposed to fight McCallister previously but McAllister picked up an injury so he couldn't fight for it , i think Him and Limond is a good fight though and will maybe answer some questions over Doyle that may exist the now ...

I don't think Arthur is serious about his fighting career anymore and I think Woodhouse would beat him. He possibly knows this which is why he rejected the fight.

I believe I would beat arthur but that's by the by,I'd just like a crack at that commenwealth title and the fact gilmoors got a hold on the title and won't let it out of scotland is wrong, I know there's not chance of me fighting limond because tommy knows I'd knock him out

It's hard to understand from that post, but is that a pro fighter saying he got paid not to win?
