Just like to take this opportunity to wish Sprott all the best for tonight. Unfortunately I wont be thinking of him as I'll be utterlly legless before he even gets to the ring, so I'm thinking of him now to make up for that.

It'll need another Koc-beating performance to get another result in old Oldenburg, but fingers crossed he's up for it

A good mate of mine spars with Sprott and says he is looking very sharp.

I know fornicate all about Vidoz really - stujones could probably tell you more.

If sprotts boxes sensibly he can do it but he will have to dominate more than he did against koc.

"He beat me fair and square. I didn't throw enough punches and my jab wasn't effective. I was just standing in front of him.

I'll just add that someone really should enlighten Audrey to the fact that plane tickets to the US arn't just one way. He really should come back accross and clean up in Europe, bide his time for a few months. He's evidently not going to be given a chance against any decent American contender soon.

but he'd have to get ranked for the challenge, meaning eliminators against sub standard euros and it could be a year or more till he gets a shot.

This way if he pesters enough people in the US and makes enough waves he could drum up some publicity for a semi big fight that can get his name out there for a bigger one.

That's a good point I didn't think about, although there are voluntaries I suppose - and if bloody Koc (that would hurt) get's to fight Vidoz next just because they're in the various pockets of mr sauerland...

Tell you what would be interesting though...if Krasniqi, who's #1 behind Wlad, falls back on the EBU title, beats Vidoz, how about Krasniqi-Harrison? That would be worth the effort

That's a good result for Vidoz. If he gets by Koc, I wonder if he'll ever try to come back over here to the U.S. His loss to Zuri Lawrence is forgiveable if you know anything about Lawrence (who happens to be the fighter that McCline faces next).

As to Audley, if he could get in with Vidoz, it would be a good fight for him, but truly at this point, the guy just needs to fight SOMEONE and be more active. Take a page out of Chauncy Welliver's book and just fight someone every 4 or 5 weeks until something opens up. Calvin Brock has had to take a step back with Kenny Craven and David Bostice after the McCline win because there just aren't enough TV dates here in the US in the Fall/Winter with ESPN pulling support for boxing. If he was smart, he'd lobby with Kusher and/or Warriors Boxing to get a spot on one of their monthly PPV shows.

There must be some mialege in calling him out bairing in mind audley beat him in the olympics.

So far it looks like Vidoz and Koc will fight on the possible Valuev vs Ruiz card on december 17th in Berlin.

Well then they should get in the bloody ring ther EBU is likely to sanction it with audley ranked 7th and the fighters above him aren't that great or have world honners on the mind. He should batter one of the top 10 in an "eliminator" while he is waiting and make the fight.
