Close fight, draw or a close decision for either fighter.
Bhop's been giving props to Cotto during the first half of the fight...

Ward fights at 168. Ward is never coming down to 160.

Round twelve: Cotto presses forward and lands a right after a tentative minute. Cotto to the body. Trout has Cotto on the ropes and is landing. Cotto with some short body shots. Cotto uppercut connects. Trout with a left-right. Check right hook lands for the champ, clinchwork from Cotto. Trout with a solid combination. Cotto in pursuit with power to end the fight, but can't reach Trout. 114-114, but I was very generous towards Cotto. Trout deserves a win more than he does.

Final result: 117-111, 117-111, and 119-109 for Austin Trout

Why does Cotto always put his kids through this? His kids should not be at ringside for his fights.

I agree. Cotto's power just doesnt carry at 154. He needs to move down to 147 or retire...

Team Canelo is not going near Trout. They assumed Williams was damaged goods that's why they agreed to fight him.

Dude. He takes on the best out there. No matter the risk. Not a bad move. He challenges himself. Something many elite boxers don't do. You should be thanking Cotto.
I'm saying foolish financial move , Team Cotto could have take high risk and high reward fights on ppv

How about a fight between Trout and K9? I think that would be interesting.

lol @ Jim Gray trying to get a classic 'Im retiring from the sport of boxing.' soundbite from Cotto but all he got was ....'Probably.' Ahahahahhaaha. Showtime is stupid for having this fag represent them.

And yeah, the fight went how I thought. Cotto is a good fighter but too many people have hyped his stint at 154 and actually think of him as a big 154 lbs fighter when it's just not the case.

Trout showed his balance of skill and workrate, he's still just a shade easy to hit and some big 154 lbs punchers might give him some trouble.
