Earl withdrew because Frank Maloney was trying to cut his money.Graham should get more than double what he was being offered for a risky fight.
Graham wants rid of Frank Maloney and wants to fight on ITV to earn more money. Frank Maoney has told him he is getting a Sky deal and wants to split from allegedly.The fighters in the gym want to stay with allegedly because they get more money.
Expect all Frank Maloney's TKO fighters to rebel and leave him shortly.

Before you express personal remarks find out the facts. Graham has a contract that says what he should get and he accepted this fight on this basis.His own Manager is/was the Promoter of this fight and he tells him he cannot afford to pay him what is in his contract because Sky have cut the money down. He got screwed by his Manager when he fought Kevin Bennett and vowed not to get screwed again.He wants out to find a new Manager. He wants to be Managed by allegedly without Maloney. His career is nose diving.

Interesting post Mr Sturbs. At the press conference for Earl/Bennett. The good news is the show is still on and it's got some good names on view.
Gary Woolcombe takes a step up against the limited but dangerous Delroy Mellis over 10 for the British Masters title.
Gary can box Mellis' head off, but over 10 rounds that's a long time to keep out of trouble and Delroy only needs to be lucky once. Be interesting to see how Woolcombe's stamina holds up if it goes late and also if can resist being drawn into a brawl.

Graham Earl
I have just come back from training camp with Graham Earl, where he has a damaged rib. But lets not let the facts get in the way of a good conspiracy theory eh? You could work for a tabloid mick...
It never fails to astonish me that people, who do not use their real name, and fail to respond to messages feel that they can write any nonsense about the careers of serious fighters. I have never seen Earl duck a fight for any reason unless injury. Indeed, sometimes he has fought against medical advice (witness Burns, Bennet) and has paid the price. We have a policy of only letting fighters fight when ready and fit. To have fought with a damaged rib against this opponent would have been foolhardy with so much on the line.
As regards his relationship with Frank Maloney, the only two people that really concerns is Maolney and Earl themselves. However, if Earl was that disatisfied with the service that Maloney had offered whilst climbing through the ranks to British and Commonwealth Champion, one presumes he would have left by now, for Graham is a strong self-determined character.
It is unfortunate Earl had this problem as he was in great shape from good preparation with Eames and Swinney and I imagine this will show through once the fight is remade and I believe Earl will put in a sound performance against a very creditable opponent to uphold his manager's belief in him.

Whatever the reason, he's pulled out of a fight that few saw him winning. This fight has aroused alot of interest, and contrary to the vast expectation, the public are delivered nothing.
