This post comes up every two to three months and every time I read it I'm hoping theres news about his next fight, it's a shame because he was a top amateur who started his pro career very well indeed, two years ago people were talking about cox v brook ! Hope he comes back.

Heard this guys a scum bag. My only memory of him is knocking a journeyman down in one of his early fights with a body shot as the guy was on his hands and knees cox lifted his foot and cocked his leg as if he was about to drive the boot in. He had a stern talking to by the ref it was a DQ in my opinion. Jim Watt was disgusted!

The good lord gave you two eyes, two ears & one mouth always wise to use them in that order . Jamie is a great but a fireball come fight night. The man you're talking about was Mark Lloyd they are good friends today & often speak over the phone. Mark Lloyd is not exactly a journeyman.

I do apologise you must be his live-in partner?

He needs to be busy in 2013, not sure whats going on with his promotion side, but alot of good boxers are just not busy enough. I find it odd sometimes as they are good ticket sellers

thing is the promoter has a signed contract, and they won't just let a boxer walk away usually.

Was not a journeyman, it was Mark Lloyd, he fought for the european title and the English title.

Lloydy is form the same town as me - to say his a journeyman is harsh!

He has only ever lost to high level operators and has a fight due on the 16th against Max Maxwell (though can see this being scrapped with Max's Ochieng fight)

From Monday to Friday yes I'm his trainer[/quote]

Judging by that fight with the African guy I imagine he speaks on the phone to Mark Green quite often to. Is he a long lost uncle of his? I do apologise for calling Mark Lloyd a journeyman I was unsure who the fighter was. Is Jamie still calling for the Kell Brook fight?

Interesting - they fought probalbly a month back - in what was a tickover fight for both which i believe Al Harbi won comfortbaley - though Llodyy treated it as a fitness excercise for a Masters Title fight he had (which fell through)

Think Al Harbi would win again but dont see what he would gain from it, unlesshe saw it a keep busy fight

What you won't or want don't mean a thing mate

Maybe it don't mean anything to you boss, but a lot of folk where pretty disgusted by your mans antics that night which was an embarrassment to britsh boxing IMO. Everybody deserves a second chance I guess so I will wait to see his next fight.

I'm not defending the low blows just saying Jamie did what he had to do. Nobody has ever mentioned the 3 cuts Jamie sustained two from Sai's head & 1 from his elbow, all of which Mark Green saw, maybe some method in his madness, I don't know. What I do know is lesser men would have quit on there stool.

How's he looking fitness wise? And does he still want the brook fight? I remember him saying in a post fight interview. "he may be called special kell but I'm the sugar puffs monster I'll destroy him" :salut: :box:

Sorry but I'm, and I'd hope most would agree, with the guy who wins getting the nod, couldn't care less where they are from. Sai deserved to beat Cox that night, even forgetting the points Cox should have had deducted, no amount of bullshit and bluster changes that.

If we all went along with your way of thinking boxing would be in an even bigger mess that it is now. Possibly the stupidest post I've read on here
