what annoys me about Tyson and the casual boxing fan is that they all say Tyson was the best ever etc i can guarantee nobody will be able to name an oponnent apart from Bruno that he beat

Tyrell Biggs, Michael Spink, Larry Holmes and Donovan Ruddock are a few.. Most casual fan won't understand the true history to Tyson maybe you should go look at his record.. Most fighters avoided him until he started having problems..

This is how it would go down, for real. Tyson comes out. Ali comes out. Tyson closes the distance and throws a right hook to the body followed by an uppercut to the chin. Ali goes down. Doesn't get back up, he had shit recovery powers, and Tyson wins with the first minute or so. How? Cus and the kid, bolo punches, force of nature, 90-second prime etc. etc.

That is also what would happen in every one of Tyson's defining fights against live opponents. Apart from the ones that did happen, which he lost by KO in most cases, but those fights don't count. They will never, ever count.

Yes, all fights ever come down to is speed, power and chin. Ring intelligence, skill, heart and the ability to adapt and overcome don't come into the equation, ever. If they did then Ali would win this mythical match up. We're lucky men, eh?

Nope Ali had nothing on him, Tyson is a modern athlete, smokin Joe outboxed him and he wasn't half of what Tyson was. Both of them were hugely over rated but you need to be serious here.

Holyfield was better than ali, Lewis was better and When Douglas was motivated he could have been.

I'll say this about Tyson at his peak - he had lightning hand speed, KO power and was very durable, he would have given Ali serious serious problems. Would he had beaten him - who knows! Except it would have been a fight to remember.

Ali would not have dealt with Tysons speed & power.

I also think that Holyfield would have beaten Ali too.
Like Tyson - Holyfield gets undervalued.

I know he is, besides the point. Ali's chin was up there with the best of them.

Ali's tactics against Foreman were so masterful that his chin barely got tested. Few HWs could take what Foreman threw and stay up, Ali avoided taking it at all.

tested plenty against the likes of shavers, frazier, cooper. His chin was something to behold, but sadly, has paid the sad price of soaking up shots that would have knocked most out.
