Trivia.
Trivia.
I was a lineal world champion.
I made five successful defenses of my title before I lost it.
In my next fight, I lost a bout for the same title I'd lost but to a different fighter than the one who'd beaten me for the title.
I subsequently moved up a division and lost a bout for the title there of the same sanctioning organization where I'd held my title.
I then moved up to the next division and became a mandatory challenger, losing a shot at that division's title to an ATG. It again was the same sanctioning organization.
I was never stopped.

I defeated an Olympic Gold Medalist to win my world title.
I never lost my world title in the ring.
I scored two stoppages among my world title defenses.

Re: Trivia.
Yes, I guess it's the way it's worded! I think I read it wrong, as it states among his defenses, which means all his title defenses.Bundana wrote:Vuyani Bungu
Felix Trinidad won his title over Reid then had 2 defenses and won both by KO then his title was vacant.
Vuyani Bungu won his title over McKinney then defended his title 12 times, with 2 being by stoppage then his title was vacant.

Re: Trivia.
Correct. The phrase "my world title" as well as "among" indicate there was only one title and more than two defenses.Bundana wrote:Vuyani Bungu

Nice Job!
What former World Contender said, "to see a white man really worrying about me changed my whole life."
I have a charity event to go to now so I will check back when I get home.
