Is the "Commonwealth" title of any value these days? It increasingly seems like the British 'B' title. How on earth can these two contest the vacant belt? Limond was a decent Super Feather/Lightweigh a few years back, but hasn't had a win of note in ages...

If fighters from South Africa/Australia/Canada etc never contest the title then what is the point?

i actually think he could win this ,fair enough he dosent have the experience of limond but i think he will be hungrier and fresher .If he wins this and goes on to defeat McAllister it could be a good advert for him

Withthe fullest of respect I'd think there's more active fighters than lee entitled to a shot at the winner, how can Tommy Gilmour have such an influence with the commonwealth?

any influence is obviously money.........

I think thats why so many fighters who win olympic gold and world titles always say they treasure the olympic gold more that any other title...........professional boxing is bent on money
