I think it is a matter of time before Gamboa gets stopped. Not in this fight, but soon.
Re: Pacquiao/Marquez and undercard RBR.
Round 10
Faenas pushing the action but not landing much.
Gamboa on the back foot.
Close round could have gone either way.
8-2 Gamboa

I think that he will fight well against the top guys, but I think if a top guy with power gets him hurt, they are not going to let him off the hook.DetroitHxC wrote:I think his biggest problem is fighting down to his opponents and letting himself have mental lapses in there.BigJuicyHog wrote:I think it is a matter of time before Gamboa gets stopped. I may be wrong, but I think he would fight more focused against a more highly touted opponent.

Attention everyone: Gamboa holds wins over Daniel Ponce De Leon & Orlando Salido, reigning world champions at featherweight. He's had 22 fights.Goliath wrote: INCASE YOU DIDNT KNOW...THIS IS THE REASON GAMBOA HAS AND ALWAYS WILL FIGHT HAND PICKED SOFT OPPONENTS
What you just wrote was, forgive me, but cuntingly stupid just about fits.

Round 11
Gamboa getting cocky and thinking he's better than the punches he's actually landing.
Posing don't win you points.
He's just getting by but not by much.
9-2 Gamboa

Gamboa entertaining as hell fighter, lousy chin, but so far more like trinidad , he gets up and keeps firing but not with trinidad power....I think Broner can ko' him though..

I did not say what you said was cuntingly stupid because you implied he cannot take a punch.Goliath wrote:Not at all...what I said represents the opinions of pretty much any boxing critic out there.Datsue wrote:Attention everyone: Gamboa holds wins over Daniel Ponce De Leon & Orlando Salido, reigning world champions at featherweight. I said it because you said something outlandish & cuntingly stupid about how "he has & always will fights hand picked soft opponents". Your words. Cuntingly stupid ones.
Re: Pacquiao/Marquez and undercard RBR.
Round 12
Gamboa met Farenas mid ring for the most part.
Farenas tried to move forward but was thwarted by Gamboa's combinations, he couldn't get anything going apart from the odd shot.

Whilst he was reading out those ads, I've realised Jim Lampley's true calling: the motherfucker's actually Troy McClure.

Jim Lampley, yesterday.

Re: Pacquiao/Marquez and undercard RBR.
Ya Jones had so much natural talent that noone knew about his chin till later in the game. Jones always had the glass jaw but noone (including Toney) could ever get past the lightning quick reflexes Jones has most of his career. After his speed and reflexes slowed down slightly the world got to see what the RJJ beard was really like...victor-romeo wrote:In what way, I think Roy Jones who shut down James Toney one of the greatest fighters ever..
