Seeing as some of you on here obviously like a bet, thought I'd draw your attention to what I fancy today.

Hearts away at Falkirk, Hibs at home to Inverness.

The double pays 1.33/1 with bet direct. I've lumped on so apologies to Jambo fans - if the wheels come off today, you'll know who to blame!

Good luck to you! You shouldn't need it. Hearts should win, even without Bednar. Hibs should as well, although you don't know how they'll do off the midweek defeat, and Caley are fairly capable of grabbing a result here and there. SPL is quite unpredictable really. Take out the old firm, hearts this season, and maybe the bottom two, and you're left thinking WTF? Aberdeen-Motherwell yesterday for example.

I fancied Man City to beat Everton today - even try out this fandangled laying off everton - but the match has already started (what a ridiculous time), and considering all I've managed to do today is feed the cat and bring up half a gallon of Bellhaven I can't be arsed doing anything about it.)

The odds with Hills for the draw are 21/10, meaning 0-0 should be 17/2. The bastards have changed it to 6-1! I think that says all you need to know.

Actually, I fancy 1-0 Liverpool...but probably because I want it to happen! Does anyone agree with me that Drogba is one overrated piece of shit?

Jomo - 11.15 kick off - and plenty of people have been saying 'The earliest ever Prem kick off'. But no one has said WHY it's kicking off at this time. Anyone know?

You're right about Scottish football. I once had a massive nine team accumulator fall because Ross County only drew 0-0 at home. A moment of clarity followed - "What the fornicate am I doing betting on Scottish Third Division football?!"

Campbell was goods odds at 33/1 with William Hills, because they do an each way of 1/2 if he scores one of the first 3 goals...I think it's kicked off now anyway.

I have to admit I give a laugh (of sympathy) when I went into the bookies and the first thing I heard was Falkirk going ahead. Except the Ladbrokes MC always pronounces the Fal to rhyme with pal and not fall, which is getting annoying now. All you clever chaps know that of course

Now I remember why I packed in gambling. A fornicating hard earned ton down the drain. :x

The thing is, my losses are so fornicating unpredictable it's funny (if you aren't actually me). Hearts have won all 8, Falkirk second from bottom haven't won a game at home. After 20 odd minutes the Jambo pudenda have a man sent off, concede a penalty and later on score an own fornicating goal! You couldn't make that shit up!

So I was cheering on Inverness after that - takes some doing finding two odds on shots to go down in the same double!

Back to retirement for me.

I backed four horses in a Yankee earlier in the week only a 50p Yankee but all four won so I won something like 80-odd quid.

Since then I have done 4 yankees - 16 horses and not one has won!!!

Time for me to quit too!!

That's what hooked me. When I was still young and naive, I did a 50p Lucky 15 (£7.50) All four won, I made nearly £400. Bearing in mind I was about 17, to come out of the bookies with a wad that size was fornicating fasntastic

Yes I used to do Yankees regularly, started at 20p and was soon gambling big time. Remember sticking £500 on Rangers to beat Celtic once at something like 6/4 they won 3-2 in a real thriller!, but jeez did I sweat a bit that night!

After a fantastic weekend in which I did a £5 Trixie on the 3 Friday night SFL matches (all drew at 5/2, dancer) and then did a £20 treble on Denmark, Spain and Holland, I'm feeling in a bit of a smug mood, and having just looked at the midweek odds for the ints, I would like you to join me in bringing Ladbrokes to its knees.

Uncle John's double your money treble

Estonia 2/7 to beat Luxembourg away. Eh, what's going on here? Luxemburg havn't picked up a point all qualifying campaign, they're -41 on goal difference. Estonia have a respectable 4 wins and 14 points. Only one way this is going. Even the 2/9 most are offering is a gift, but 2/7 has arrived on the wings of an angel.

Bulgaria 1/3 to beat Malta away. Yet another huge rick by Ladbrokes. This is a general 1/5. Malta have picked up two points and have scored three goals in 9 games. Bulgaria sit 3rd behind Sweden and Croatia with 14 pts and 16 goals scored. They beat Hungary 2-0 on Saturday. Home advantage counts for Jack shit in these sorts of games.

That so far gives us £12 for a £7 stake, and a 1/6 of your choice is all that's required to double the money. Italy and Portugal both oblige here, I'd side with Italy personally. They've been a bit stale despite ruling the group from day 1, and they should beat Moldova handily, even if it's just by a goal or two with a weakened team.

Not convinced Jomo....late in the qualifying stages I think you have to look at who needs to win. For example Bulgaria cannot qualify so may not try as hard as they could, and equally teams with Bulgarian internationals in their sqauds may put pressure on the Bulgarian coach to rest certain players. Let's face it, England don't bust a gut and experiement when there's nothing to play for, and so will other teams.

I'd focus attention on Czech Republic and Group Four.

I take your point, but Luxemburg and Malta are such poor teams that even a weakened Bulagria could knock a couple past with ease
