Hi all,

I'm organising a charity online auction, one of the listings is a pair of Derry Mathews signed boxing gloves and two pairs of his contest shorts, donated by the Liverpool boxer’s sponsors ‘ACS’ to support EachStep Blackley, a pioneering new specialist dementia care service in Manchester that supports people with the condition from diagnosis until the end of their lives (www.each-step.co.uk).

All items used by Derry Mathews. Gloves are signed. Green & white shorts were worn during his IBO Lightweight Title Fight against Emiliano Marsili in January 2012.

100% of the money raised in this auction will go towards EachStep Blackley employing a specialist coordinator for ‘Singing for the Brain’, a musical therapy that helps people with dementia to socialise, relax and unlock memories through song. By bidding you will also be supporting a great cause. Just thought I'd post this on here to raise a bit of awareness in the right circles!
