Marquez on Pacman. I didnt know what the fcuk had gone on and I suspect Im not the only one. He delivered a shot so devastaingly sneaky that alot of observers in real time didnt catch it

Hatton was more chilling in my opinion. I always felt Pac would get up and be ok (touch wood) but I was worried for Ricky.

Also (and this is just an assumption) although falling face first looks worse, it might actually be better for you than the back of your head bouncing off the canvas like what happened to Hatton or Gamanche

Really? I was the other way round and was concerned for pacman for a while. I wanted jmm to calm down the celebrations so he wouldn't regret anything

Just perception in the moment I suppose, but there was something about the camera angle of Hatton on his back with the people around him that brought back some bad memories of other fights.

They are both essentially career ending knockouts;neither man saw the punch coming, both were unconcious before they hit the floor, both hit their heads against the ring floor, both had the heavy, heaving breathing and both looked like they were seriously hurt for a time. I think the Marquez punch was the harder punch; Manny was plowing forward and straight into a massive heavy counter, he was moving forward more recklessly than Hatton and that alone must have added to the impact. I'd like both to pack in now; they both took heavy punches and that was a fantastic bout to go out on; I don't think either will be as good again and it would be a shame for either to get knocked about by a lesser boxer. Marquez had redemption and Pac Man has had a brilliant run and can concentrate on his other stuff.

I think Hattons was worse as you could actually see his face when he was wiped out and he kinda took a few weak breaths but both are chilling KO's.

There was a sickening punch in the Froch Bute fight aswell although we are obviously talking about actual stone cold knockouts. One punch which froch lands whips Butes head back and his eyes roll etc.

Wonder if Pac will be on the coke now.
