He would be a good opponent but I doubt a few days would be enough to get everything sorted - visas, paperwork, weight etc.

A spokesman for Warren says its off. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/boxing/20665025
I'm sure it is.

That's not the point.

They're saying the bloke withdrew. The bloke's team say he didn't.

Usual nonsense isn't it mate.

A world champion fighting a bum, on a non-world champion's fight.

It's not always FW's fault clearly but it seems that every time he announces once of his "fantastic cards" the end bill looks nothing like what was originally proposed. It invariably ends up with the headline fight being little more than a total mismatch. Would drive me nuts if I bought tickets for any of his shows any more.

And this is why I refuse to shell out for tickets to the Herfordshire Massives cards.

TBF Hearn has been slated for his fights falling through...though a difference was that those fights (I.e. Frampton v Martinez) WERE actually nice on paper as opposed to Burns v Walsh or Burns v Ocampo.

Justified but to be fair this has been pretty much the case for the Matchroom shows in the new season as well.

I'm pretty forgiving of replacement opponents, not so much of poor original matches. Karpency, Miranda, Mack, Walsh, Maddalone, etc were poor opponents anywhich way (at least for the viewers/crowd)

I feel for Ricky. He's apparently "sick with rage" that Ocampo has withdrawn (did he withdraw?). But to be fair to Ocampo, if he has indeed withdrawn, I think the fact his trainer dropped dead in front of him less than a week ago is as good a reason as most.

He's not fighting anyone now. Nae luck it was a farce to begin with putting a "World Champion" in with a domestic fighter, then a guy who is 75th in the world.

Karma.

He can be but then again so can other promoter, don't get me wrong am not a frank fanboy but i don't necessarily hang of Eddies balls either. Every promoter has his good qualities and bad qualities

Golden Boy apparently want Ricky to fight Broner in February. I don't know what the truth is to this but the fight does make sense and I hope Ricky takes it and shuts that idiot Broner up.
