Been out sparing Juan Manuel Marquez and training with Nacho does it get any better than that, with a bit of luck hes more active in 2013 and can get picked up by Matchroom or Frank and can push on with his career

I may be bit biased as I know him but he's an absolute cracking fighter, he taught himself Spanish goes out to one of the worst areas in the world and trains there, Yeah he was a bit lucky as his best friend is mexican and knew nacho but hes had Such bad luck with Management and promoter contracts but hes still very young and He's got things proper set up tho now he's got a type investor where he's got fights in Southampton and he gets fights in Mexico. He's fighting jan and feb. seen him spar nick Blackwell couple weeks ago and for a guy who's a lot lighter it was amazing to see him edging the sparring. He's gonna be very busy in 2013, big things ahead for him

There are some vids of him doing a few rounds with JMM and he holds his own. When you consider the colossal difference in experience, you have to give him a ton of credit.

Combine that with upping and going to Mexico, living and breathing training under Nacho - well, he will go from being a good fighter to a great one. It's a huge learning curve and more up and coming fighter's should try it.

I know Alex & was speaking to him the weekend, he is a absolute brilliant kid, a gentleman & cracking boxer, fast hands, good movement. I met him when he boxed Baz Carey on his debut, he was giving away weight to Baz and handled him with ease, something not a lot of fighters did. He's been very unlucky with promoters & keeping busy but he told me he is fighting January & February & plans on going back out to Mexico in June or July, I take my hat off to him, and hope 2013 will be a good year for him.
