Attendance Belfast
Looks shocking...Does Tyson not sell in Belfast?
Re: Attendance Belfast
You can't judge attendances until 5 mins before the main event. Imagine many will have picked the bar over Eubank Jr
Re: Attendance Belfast
Undercards anywhere, on any bill in the world don't normally pull in the full crowd
Re: Attendance Belfast
Thought they were doing the usual...headliner first...
Re: Attendance Belfast
It will be packed 5 min before main fight, its improved now.

Corbett went over on his ankle in the first round and all bets were off. He was 17st 6lb.

Re: Attendance Belfast
Strangely enough I read an interview in last weeks Manchester Evening News and Fury was saying that he was forced to fight in Belfast as he could sell more tickets there than he could in Manchester (which is why he has boxed in random places like Somerset).jizzle wrote:Looks shocking...Does Tyson not sell in Belfast?
He said that he could not understand why the people of Manchester were not getting behind him.

Maybe because he's the most dislikable people in the history of British boxing?

I take it from your user name that you are a Scouser ?IronLiver wrote:bripez wrote:

I actually quite like Fury - he has got a good personality.
On Saturday the whole dancing in the mirror bit and the "alas Smith and Jones" type sketch was pretty good.
The more I see him the more I warm to him - he is very personable and talkative etc. and comes across well IMO.
Re: Attendance Belfast
I cant bring myself to like him - comes across as a right tool in interviews and his manners etc.
He might be a decent bloke but his 'camera' persona just doesnt do it for me, those type of boxers just get me wanting them to be sparked every fight

Re: Attendance Belfast
He comes from a family full of convicted criminals and is a proven homophobe. Need I say more?

Saw that fight on the night, and thought that it was a terrible decision.
