If Duran fights for the WBC, then WBC, TMDT, IBO (vacated), & WTF x2 (vacated twice) will all be under the WBF roof.

All of the other Title lineages (WBA, IBF & WBO) are with the Lonsdale.

I suggest that Duran should fight for the WBC this week, and then all that is left is for it to be unified with the Lonsdale for the undisputed Title. Suppose a paper title collection could be in order afterwards, but it's neither here now there really.

Let it be known that Billy Conn unwittingly, or not, refused the opportunity of fighting for THE Title. At least him having the paper title collection will save us on the sanctioning fees. :TU:

The UNDISPUTED LONSDALE awaits!!!!

Duran has history with both from this matchup:

Jofre (W 1(1) - L 1(1) - D 1) vs Grebb (SD L).

We feel that this should be a WBF eliminator and headline the undercard at WEMBLEY, cos this is how we roll :TU:

I understand P4P1 has agreed to wave the WBF fee's for the fight, as long you both send each others mothers round to his HQ.

The Pea deserves a Title shot. Still baffled by how some are avoiding him (with good reason).

Whilst we appreciate Marciano's request for an immediate rematch, Henry has instructed me that with limited time remaining, it is time to look forwards and set about gaining revenge on the unfair losses he has incurred (only the Louis one is a genuine 'loss').

As his manager, he has asked me to get Ali for him. We start with him. You have all been warned!

Sounds like there will be plenty of "title shots" this week.

this #4# extravaganza ends on week 30 regardless of outcome. Unless someone twists my arm.

I am considering hosting a "back to basics" frills free no nonsense 20 event season next. Depending on interest shown.

Unless someone else would like to take the reigns?

Conn and Tunney (hopefully) will face off for the 3 belts....and Duran will face off for the WBC....and PERHAPS we may get ourselve a champion by seasons end if anyone shows a speck of cajones.

I expect that the Lonsdale champion will need to put a whuppin on whomever floats to the top of this turdpile.

Henry is openly simply dropping all the belts?....is that what's happening? Lord say it aint so! Let HH think this through....HH is that really what you want? Looks like Crease is saying this ship may have already sailed.

Or based on JDC's move will those three belts stay united? If so...thanks are due to JDC.
Lmao, Duran has my permission to fight for whatever title he wants to, cus I am taking on Tunney. The winner of the two of us will then face Duran. That is only fair, imho. So if Duran wants the WBC title, let him win it for himself. Thats what I did, why should I be bullied now to defend against him when I said weeks ago if I was successful against Kid Chocolate I would fight Gene Tunney (week 26 was quite a surprise being matched against Loi but true sportsman that I am I put my titles up against him when I didnt have to). If Duran wants all the belts, then so be it, but that IMHO is catter walling and crybabying, its just ONE WEEK and besides both Tunney and myself agree to face Duran no matter what happens next week. I guess I am effed either way, but regardless I dont break promises, I garunteed Tunney a title shot weeks ago.

Gibberish!

Let Duran earn his Title himself.

He's just won the biggest event on the calendar and was mandatory for any belt he chose. Somehow you managed to duck out of the way. Duran only wants to deal with the real titlists anyway. Shame on Connald Duck!

Mr. Tunney, last time we fought it was a controversial draw, this time we will leave no doubts. If you were to win, it would throw a wrench into the whole tournament. This is just not going to happen. Conn is on the rise, and if he defeats you, he will have that solid chance of decisioning Duran. He may be the greatest lightweight, and was a stellar welterweight and middleweight; but let me assure you, Mr. Conn is a top ten all time middleweight, top five all time light heavyweight, and was beating the greatest puncher in heavyweight history for twelve rounds before getting "Irish" and knocked out. You Mr. Tunney, failed to fight the truly best men at 175 and u beat an old Jack Dempsey, I will prevail!

The decisions of the managers will be honored.

It seems that it would at least be possible for Gene and Billy to vye for the three titles.

Since Duran is heading for the WBC and is NOT making an issue of what could be considered a blatant duck. JDC, are you ok with the commish NOT imposing a penalty on HH? There is some merit to his claim of wanting to keep his word with Tunney. At least in some hypothetical ethical symposiums.

This commish is highly motivated NOT to break up Conn's trifecta. IF there is no objection from Duran's camp.

Would this be a case of no harm no foul?

Sounds like HH is ok, Tunney's managment is not whining, JDC is more amused than angered.

Perhaps we can all reach an accord here?

Crease...are you the "odd man out"?

I'm not imposing anything at this time. I'd rather see where this leads us and we will not penalize anyone. This would require a rather unanimous accord. If this breaks up the titles so be it, unless we are in full agreement to allow Conn to continue to hold them. So anyone offered a shot would be a stakeholder in this weeks proceedings.

As I have said, this ship may have already sailed. HH will claim that is was honor that created this moment. And I suppose I won't be critical about that. But am looking for a way for this season to end with some finality if possible.

If needed we can extend the season to it's appropriate conclusion.

So the 'champs' are still avoiding The Pea? Expected and not surprised. We don't care who it is, really. Can this shameless 'ducking' continue?

WBA mandatory is next week. Maybe Leonard should get that shot, or even a vacated title shot for the WBA. Billy Conn man's created a right mess here. If Duran beats Ketchell, I'd like him to face the winner of Jofre and Grebb due to their history.

Ketchel is going to spark Duran just like he did Sanchez and end the Duran Train of Pain.

In a word, NO. Duran has blown him out, Roberto was able to challenge for any World Title that he wished and outfortunately for Benny, he choose the WBC Title.

However, the goods news is that Benny will be the Mandatory challenger for the WBA Title next week... Provided he avoids a loss this week.

Rocky Marciano calls out Archie Moore and Joe Frazier.

Whoever accepts first will have the privilege of stepping in to the ring against The Brockton Blockbuster.
