Tyson Fury : I wonder if............................

Post by Quixall »

Someone has nicked his phone.......

Because he is ranting at Price and liverpool folk in general on twitter.

Using the "c" word and offering people out etc etc.

Either someone has nicked his phoned or Tyson has lost his cool again.

Check it out.

No doubt one of the brothers or cousins or whoever else lives in his caravan will get the blame. The guy's either bipolar or has some other serious condition and should just come clean about it instead of telling fibs about who's using his Twitter.

Some of those going off at him wouldn't be so brave when he turns up at their door. This is
bear baiting except a lot more dangerous - this bear can drive to Liverpool or wherever. (Because
they are not all scousers). :bag:

You always strike me as the kinda bloke, Carlos, who will argue with Yorkshireman on the basis you are from Lancashire/the North west. Argue with Southerners on the basis you are from the North and vehemently defend all Northerners including Yorkshireman. Argue with foreigners on the basis you are British born and vehemently defend all Brits including Southerners. etc etc etc.

I reckon you could start a verbal scrap in an empty room!

Who, me? What has that got to do with Tyson Fury going off on one by being baited
by the supporters of David Price.

And in real life, I am a nice guy and 2) I wouldn't have the balls to bait Tyson Fury, even
on twitter - good luck to those who do - especially the ones that are offering him out.

I just have this image of you getting the ruler out and working out whether Wigan is closer to Liverpool or Manchester and then going. Right closer to Manchester, Tyson Fury is now who I am going to back to the hilt in that argument.

Obviously I know that isn't the case and you support Fury off the basis that you consider him to be the guy who would win a fight between the two. But it is an amusing image I have there none the less.

I did get out the ruler and you are correct by jove! Closer culturally and physically though Wigan has a big scouse population!

Carlos, you're losing it from being up so early/out so late - I was implying DD was him on the basis he was enquiring as to where you're based so you were joining his 'hitlist' :TU:

Fury is intimidated by Price in my opinion. That's the reason for all the vitriol and anger.

The thing is ,like a lot of internet forums ,twitter is full of ranked shithouses that are champions from behind the safety of their screens, but 99.9% of these champions would shit a brick and cross the road to run home to say something from behind that trusty screen before they would or even dare say anything to Furys face eye to eye
Behind a screen/on a forum/on twitter is the only theatre that these types will ever have their say as its much more safe there for them :D
I couldn't live like that ,could you guys ? its not my style :bag:

Tyson just needs to fight Price & be done with it.

Price has been ordered to defend his titles by the end of March against Fury, so why can't they just make the fight?

Forget TV & other nonsense; sort that stuff out & get the fight on! :box:

Yeah - because it really is personal and not a professional, show building process that is going on. I can't see why Price doesn't just go to Morecombe and knock on his door; they could have a scrap in the old fun house for bragging rights.

If they fight this coming year they may split half a million quid (tops); if one of them gets a world title trinket the money goes through the roof; both of them will be set for life and probably be really friendly whenever they bumped into each other.

Wonder why anyone would want to build it up?

Unfortunately saying 'forget TV and other nonsence' isn't going to make the promoters forget that. If it was that easy I'd walk into a bank and say

'Can I have a million pounds'
'No'
'Why?'
'It's not your money'
'Look forget about who's money it is'
'Oh ok here, a million, you want that in 20s or 10s?'

TV and the other politics is, for the moment, the reason the fight isn't happening. If one of them or both win a World title, then the fight may happen because the champ can dictate terms with more weight. Being British champ when both guys are above domestic class unfortunately won't do that.

Good point - it's like the area councils trying to use leverage over Martin Murray or Matthew Macklin; no point and it doesn't work; the boxers are (far) ahead of it. I can imagine Price and Fury boxing in 18 months or 2 years and making a packet.

Fury is ranked 3rd by the WBC, the British title is a step backwards at this point for him, the competition isn't obviously but who in their right mind in Fury's position would fight someone like Price for what will be such little money and acclaim.
