I noticed he dropped his hands to have a peek just as Donaire was loading up the left hook. Arce lowered his hand to see and at that exact moment Donaire was throwing the punch. The Dark Destroyer wrote:Why did Arce drop his hands? Yeah, he wanted more of a show, nobody's been able to really play as a foil for him and he's been in a mindset of winning in great fights, but with Pacquiao's loss plenty of fans will be on his page now finallylvlarc wrote:Sweet left hook. Nonito doesn't even look happy, just another day at the office.

Is there anyone in boxing with a better left hook at the moment than Donaire? I doubt it.

Donaire top 3 p4p
Re: Donaire/Arce RBR.
Great point. He obviously needed to just cover up or tie him up since it was already a 10-8 round. Maybe he didn't realize how much time was left?Baby Face Finster wrote:I noticed he dropped his hands to have a peek just as Donaire was loading up the left hook. Arce retiring. I'm sure he will even though he's still a bit of a cash cow, he has always been a prideful fighter who I doubt wants to continue with so much doubt in his head.

Too bad Donaire won.
I expected it, but disheartening nonetheless.
