Post by blade02_02 »

I've seen satchell on few occasions and looks good shame he is in a poor division not seen anything of Wilton before

Go on Luke! :TU: Good little pressure fighter, learned his trade, took the bumps along the road and long overdue a title crack. Satchell will be a tall order though but you never know.

Satchell is surely the British prospect of the year...and WHAT a year he has had.

9 fights and British and commenwealth champ!

Can see him beating Wilton here ,Kevin rated number 1 in Europe according to boxrec so he should be moving up very soon! It's all about fighting for the British to keep it though..

He is potentially a good fighter is Kevin Satchell no doubt about that but the domestic division is not strong or competative. This will be a good fight which Satchell should walk away with a comfortable victory in the end but he needs to look at moving quickly, keeping busy and pushing forward.

I mean we could look at some way he could gain some great experience by keeping busy.

Maybe going for the European Title in his next fight against Ex World title challenger romanian Silvio Olteanu who to be honest is not a great fighter. A fight in England would be easy to get and would be a great step forward. Then two or 3 fights at this level could then see him push up the division

This will be a great fight, it's on the undercard of the Price v Thompson fight. This fight seems to be showing for Feb 23rd and not Feb 2nd as previously stated.

Wilton was the east side goldenboy as an amateur, and I saw him get gifted quite a rediculous amount of decisions against quite frankly, mediocre opposition, I'd say he's done well so far as a pro considering how limited he is in skills.

No points for body shots in the Ama's. Lets see how this pans out in the ring, personally I think Wilton has the more pro experience and a style that will not be easy for Satchell to deal with. Can't wait to be ringside to watch this one. Wilton has worked hard for this fight.

More pro experience? Satchell has been in with 3 ex British champions in his last 3 fights and has won convincingly on each occasion. I've never heard of lukes last 3 opponents.

I'v done a bit of Sparring with Luke over the Years. Would of last sparred him 18m-2ys ago I'v heard he has come on since but iv fought Kevin and he is going to be a Special Talent will take a great kid to beat him. After i fought him i said he will be the next Ricky Burns of his weight. Burns beating Earl (22-0) in his 10th... imo the fight be finish mid way.. Good Luck to both.

I think Luke Wilton Vs Chris Edwards would be a Great Fight A WAR :box: :box:
