As both of their next fights no. At the end of the year maybe.

It would be an entertaining fight while it lasts but personally I think Carl Froch would stop George Groves in the mid to later rounds through a combination of Groves' leaky defence which saw him get dropped against Kenny Anderson ealry on his career and add to that with his history with cuts ie against Francesco Sierra will combine together and see him get stopped on cuts in a brave but unsuccessful title challenger against the bigger, more experienced and smarter Froch in my opinion.

Two of my favourite fighters. Wouldn't want to see this yet. Groves isn't ready.

Groves would get took apart and stopped by Froch - Groves needs a few more harder tests before he takes on someone like Froch.

I'd like to see Groves in with Bute or Arthur Abraham before facing Froch - I think Groves would beat them both.

It'll take a loss to Bute or Kessler for this to happen IMO and another good win from Groves, being in rival promotional camps doesn't help the chances either

Groves is a year to 18 months (maybe 2 - 3 fights) from being at Froch's level & that's supposing he ever gets to Carl's level.

It would probably a good matchup one day as long as Froch doesn't get old overnight, but right now, Froch has far bigger fish to fry.

Agreed !
I think it will happen early to mid 2014 !
But it won't supprise me if it dont ! It's abit like haye v fury or price, his nothing to prove, but it might come down to what options Carl has left in 18 months time. Hope it happens but for me Carl all day long

In two years time groves could easily devise a strategy to defeat froch.
Froch is a supreme athlete but does soak up punishment & has slow feet which will get worse & he takes time to pick his shots

Can't see Adam Booth letting Groves anywhere near Froch, ever. Stylewise, DeGale is a much trickier fight for Froch, although DeGale will have to stop going on the ropes, or he'd be doomed.
