Alex fights Akmal Aslanov of Uzbekistan (try saying that fast!) in China tonight for a WBO regional belt. It will be a good warm up to fight Big Daddy.

Looks an easy night for Alex as Akmal has been previously scheduled to fight 4 and 6 rounders against opposition, who had more losses than wins on their resumes.

But Akmal stepped out of his comfort zone for an 8 rounder against a 23-0 fighter and bit the dust after 2 rounds, so Alex within 4 rounds!

Some say round 4? I'll get official result from title supervisor Leon Panoncillo in a day or two

Browne v Leapai would be a beauty but I think Browne will keep fighting over there instead.
