Off-topic: Anybody know any casinos in West London?

Post by johnswan1 »

Looking to play Texas Hold Em.

If anybody could help out here it would be really great. Preferably in Holland Park, otherwise Notting Hill or Kensington High St.

Also, any other good places around West London would be great.

Don't go to a casino for poker.

Go to Gutshot in southwark, it is a dedicated poker club, and they have tournaments all the time, some of which are televised.

There's a Gutshot on Clerkenwell Road, a good bar aswell as poker club.

Do they have a card room there Goz? Thanks for all the help lads. Also, if there is a decent late night TV fight night in future and anybody is interested, I would be prepared to host a Texas Hold Em Poker night in my place in Holland Park and watch the fight.

That's the one, meant to say Clerkenwell, not Southwark.

Mate of mine who plays there won $100,000 at the world poker series in Vegas...

If any of you watch the live online poker nights on satellite TV, have a look out for me on it! Same alias as in here. Got in on an eight player table which was televised (there is a ten minute delay with the broadcast so they can show what cards everybody has while the game goes on). Was doing great on the televised game last week and had AK in pocket with K Q 7 off suit on flop. I raised with my KK and some punter went all in and felt I had to call but the git had AA, putting me out in 4th.

I've got a better idea - instead of going to all that trouble, just cut out the middle man, and every weekend flush £200 down the toilet....

This will save you the taxi fare home and any drinks you buy in the bar!
