Die hard Rocky (3) fans, I need answers
Ok, Clubber Lang second fight, At the end of round 1 watch closely at the seconds shirts. Then in the start of round 2 watch closely at Clubbers shorts. When you see this, my question is why??????
Re: Die hard Rocky (3) fans, I need answers
I can't see anything? What am I lookin for?
Re: Die hard Rocky (3) fans, I need answers
The writing on the shirt of one of Lang's seconds is also backwards.

Get a life it's Hollywood man
Re: Die hard Rocky (3) fans, I need answers
I assume they reversed the picture for artistic reasons, the way they often did for boxing photos.

the count is wrong as a ref does not say ten a ref would say 7,8,9,out he should never say ten ?The Dark Destroyer wrote:Another question, something that has only just occurred to me from watching the start of Rocky 3, if the ref counts to ten and Apollo is down and so is Rocky doesn't Rocky win? He scored the knock down and then fell.

I havent seen it, but i presume they 'flipped' the picture to get a better shot?

What difference would flipping a picture make, its just back to front so even if flipped it would be exactly the same but other way round.
Re: Die hard Rocky (3) fans, I need answers
lol, you just answered your own question.
The picture is flipped for artistic reasons. Presumably the trainer exiting the ring is a less clumsy shot if he exits to the right of the frame rather than the left.
If you look at the earlier shot, he's left hand, then right, then left again.

Rocky II always tickles me when Rocky knocks Creed down and falls over as well and they plant the idea that if neither get's up it's a draw. Rocky could have lay on his back the whole count and won

brain freeze, I don't get it. If neither had got up after the 10 count why would have Rocky won?

Re: Die hard Rocky (3) fans, I need answers
Creed went down from a punch, Rocky went down from loss of balance, going down from loss of balance isn't classed a knockdown but for typical hollywood bullshit the film commentators where saying something like "if neither man beats the count Creed retains his title via a draw" but the only man who should have been getting the count was Creed.mimmy123 wrote:^^^^^^^^^^^

Re: Die hard Rocky (3) fans, I need answers
It would of been a draw, rocky fell from fatigue do you not know nothing about boxing?
Re: Die hard Rocky (3) fans, I need answers
He fell from throwing a punch, not fatigue.the truth wrote:It would of been a draw, rocky fell from fatigue do you not know nothing about boxing?
It's only a film anyway.
Re: Die hard Rocky (3) fans, I need answers
Yes threw a punch and fell through fatigue that's how he struggled to get up! Ffs

Rocky 2,3,4 and 5 should never have happened as Balboa would and should of been stopped in the first 30 seconds of rd 2 in rocky
IJL would of stopped that shit!

Re: Die hard Rocky (3) fans, I need answers
clubber jumped up the rankings pretty quick :)
Re: Die hard Rocky (3) fans, I need answers
Refs can't stop fights in Rocky movies haha eg drago v creed
Re: Die hard Rocky (3) fans, I need answers
How come Clubber is so desperate to get at Rocky before the rematch starts that a fight breaks out before the introductions, yet when the bell goes to start the fight he just stands in his corner and waits for Rocky to start smacking him upside his head?
Re: Die hard Rocky (3) fans, I need answers
Interesting how boxing is the same today as it was during Rocky's reign. I mean he had ten hand picked defences as well.
Re: Die hard Rocky (3) fans, I need answers
Boxing has always been like that though, even the likes of Ali, Patterson and Louis amongst others defended their titles against handpicked opponents.BigGar wrote:Interesting how boxing is the same today as it was during Rocky's reign. I mean he had ten hand picked defences as well.

While we're on the subject, Apollo points his finger theartically at Drago in the James Brown intros during their ill-fated exhibition in Rocky IV..... then has his gloves on in the very next shot.
Slack.
