could and will are two different things,if I was as confident as you I would of said he will be, I definitely would not back him to beat Steve Williams, Hamilton is a good guy but I don't think he will beat Williams, just my opinion

I think this is a good 50/50 fight... I thought williams was better than he showed last fight, an I also thought he won by more than what the judge gave it maybe an off night tho!

well no excuses but he wasn't 100% but Steve as a good man and true professional got in the ring probably only 50% of who we know as Steve Williams and, in my opinion, still won comfortably even with bunny's ref stopping the action straight away when kirk's gum shield came out in the 4th when it looked like he was a bit stunned, plus letting kirk duck well below the belt line constantly without a hint of a warning. like I say thou no excuses. I hope you do win the belt outright Frankie you have had a rough time of late and you deserve a break in the pro ranks, all the best for 2013

Re: My British Boxing 2013 Wish List
hmmm when was the last time you got hit by both williams and miles to judge who certainly hits harder than the other? miles isnt as good a pressure fighter as williams. anwar is a tricky customer but what will he be like with sickening pressure? whoever fights whoever (williams vs hamilton, anwar vs williams, anwar vs hamilton) they will be good fights i thinkmickey1975 wrote:Anwar will beat Hamilton and then Williams. Re: My British Boxing 2013 Wish List
i know there is another thread about Limond v doyle, but if Limond beats Doyle he could then defend it against McAllister now putting aside all the talk about the logistics of why the fight is happening etc
How would limond/mcAllister pan out ? i think Limond proberly would take it , think he would proberly force a stoppage . it would have been better a few years ago ,but still think both could entertain in a fight now

Didn't notice a bad clash of heads??wappingboy wrote:omeara in a re match with liam smith with out the head but /stroke head clash in the 1st rnd
I personally thought it would of been man v boy & it was in favour of smith.it really looked like smith was systematically breaking omeara down & omeara showed great resilience & bravery to come through. Smith paced it well & previously done 12 in his last fight which stood him well in this contest, where omeara has had a few early nights & had never gone past 8.
Can't really see what omeara done to warrant a rematch but it was a good contest down to omearas grit
Re: My British Boxing 2013 Wish List
Got to agree - I think he could get to that level with the right fights, but is not there as of today. Cleverly, I might put in with them...mickey1975 wrote:I don't see one British winner in the international fights. Tony is benefiting hugely from the Boxrec bounce if people really want to stick him in with either of those two yet.
