Despite what Clinton says, you've got to wonder if the split with Cameron, if not the chief catalyst, played more of a part in him making this decision than he makes out. I don't know the circumstances of the breakdown but it can be hugely demoralising for trainers when boxers walk away. Either way, I hope Clinton is happier from this point on.

Clinton always came across as someone who had his feet firmly on the floor; if he's not enjoying it, why carry it on? Hope he enjoys the amateur training better but that's still a hard thing to do and asks for a lot of time; professional sport seems a bit ruthless.

People would be shocked at the time a pro trainer spends in a gym as well has organising sparring ect ect.
Good luck to Clinton in everything he does, enjoyed watching him on the same card has Scott Harrison years ago and always had time to say hello to you.
