Minter V Hagler.....Colin Jones V Don Curry......Barry Mcguigan V Jim Mcdonnel...... they weren't doing too badly.....how would these fights have gone if the cuts hadnt happened ?? :o

I think Hagler would still have stopped him. Hagler was a force of nature that night and was landing with a lot of shots.

hagler would def of beat him ..no doubt....but minter was def buggered by the cuts....u can see how it effected him in the closing stages....wat about colin and barry....thats a different matter ?

wow i actually agree with rubio.. getting cut is a sign of the other fighter doing his job, if the guy doesnt get cut, then that means the guy who is delivering the punches is probly not fighting as good whihc means he loses. IMO

everyone was convinced Mcguigan and Jones were beaten by the better fighters.....i think both wud have won if not cut

The Jones - Curry fight hadn't really warmed up but jones had done NOTHING to suggest he could cause an upset.

In previous bouts he had two wars with McCrory - Curry simple blew mcCrory away.

What's you logic for stating you think Jones would have won if he had not been cut? His ability to come on late in fights? Mmmmmmm, that was good enough against Kirkland Laing but ...
